I’d guess ford will have a solution implemented pretty quick for this maybe for 2023.

Probably the easiest fix for them would be to just raise the height of the surrounding trim ring. Would think that would cut down a lot of false presses while still being full exposed

I ordered a bunch of magnets, but keep in mind the cover is already magnetic, so you could also just attach a piece of metal with double sided tape.

Ok I'm finalizing everything and thinking of making it a flip design so you could just flip it open to push the button.
