new to this forum (have a 2021 XLT ICE 2.7) but test drove a lightning when I was getting service done and man is it nice.

anyhow, what do you think the odds are of finding a retail truck with little to no ADM in a Lariat trim (SR Is fine) preferrably blue cruise?


I see a few listed on cars.com but they mostly have disclaimers about contacting dealer for price.

My local dealer said they would sell an order at MSRP but I think new orders are currently suspended

yeah called a local dealer and they have a loaded lariat but 30k ADM that 25k goes to charity for....so too much for me....reached out to a few others and waiting to hear back

If find one, I recommend buying a lottery ticket. Lady luck is on your side!

I also think you have to go with the ER to get the 512a package with ACTIVE/BlueCruise

Americus, GA has one, in Blue, for $105,000

Bluecruise is a stand alone option on some, I found a couple dealers with the same order, 510 with bluecruise and bedliner

It's possible, some dealers are actually getting a few inventory trucks at the end of the 2022 model year (all Lariat SR). I know a guy who managed to snag one (at MSRP no less). My dealer is planning to offer the one they are getting to their reservation holders in reservation order until one takes it.

Go to Cars and Bids. They have Three currently for auction and have sold 16 so far. You won't get the tax credit but you can do the math and see what costs are.

thanks, it does look like the SR goes for significantly less than ER in Lariat trim...most recent in 80's

so far dealers for new still have ADM...20k, 30k, so crazy....I have a feeling with the economy tanking and gas prices staying low those ADMs will start to drop and eventually dissappear

Cars and Bids charges 4.5% and Doug seems like a good guy, but buyers on the platform are miniscule compared to a CarGurus, Dealer, Autotrader etc;.

99% of people have never heard of it.

The same buyers names on there so tiny market.

If I was a new hire IRS agent, and wanted to get promoted quickly, I would show my new leadership my automated public domain vehicle flipper App. I would be collecting the buyers $7500 and Short term Capital Gains.

I literally could write my own civil service award citation.

Only Politicians are allowed to make money that easy.

heard back from 4 other dealers, all getting the exact same truck in....some didn't realize that they were....all with crazy ADMs

I hope so, happened in the past with limited models like the raptor (2017 and 2018s sold with high ADM and I bought my 2019 at about 5k under MSRP)

clearly the ICE market is cooling down as you can buy lightly used 14gen Limited trucks for under 70k now with stickers in the 80's....not possible a few months ago
