New price increase again - $5K on 2023 Lightning

Can someone update the title to indicate the increase is only on the 2023 Pro? I kinda freak every time the current title pops up...

I am curious if the price increase means pro models could be opened up for more MY23 orders or…. Ford already scheduled the MY23 wave 1 pro orders so it is a sneaky way to increase the pricing for the “glitch” orders since those have not been scheduled.

Not all wave 1 pros have been scheduled I thought. They were all told fall 23 and Ford is just building some earlier.

If I’m doing the build right, my $46,639 2022 Pro build would now be $59,444. I‘d understand that price for a Pro ER, but not SE. I’d be out if I didn’t already have the cheap truck.

I hope that the many of you that ordered rushed to the dealer and were able to sign the Purchase Order. This helps lock in your price at the time of delivery. If MSRP increases between your order and sticker at delivery, Ford will (should) honor the price on the purchase order, and dealer will be reimbursed by Ford within i believe 45 days after purchase for the difference.

Those who got 2022 Pro really hit a jackpot. $40K - $7.5K guarantee tax credit to $51K with no guarantee federal tax credit. You are talking about potential 20K swing just like that.

I have a production date of 10/24/22

my msrp is 46,974.00

4 k in options

total msrp is 52,769.00

So if its is actually delivered by 12/29/22

I should get the 7500 tax credit and the 7000 private cash offer correct ?

I believe since your total MSRP is under $80k you will get both of those regardless of when it is delivered.

PCO better be 12K if they adjust MSRP on my order. Especially considering I cut them an interest free loan of $1000 for a truck that may or may not appear before August '23. I keep receipts...

Frankly it's everyone who got to purchase a '22 at MSRP. The cost increase + $80,000 cap on the tax credit probably pushed the ER battery out of range for a lot of folks.

I plan on calling customer service to ask. But my thought is since we have order summaries showing the $46974 price, we should be fine.
