I have a base Pro model with no options ordered, and my window sticker lists the tires as 275/65R18 BSW ALL-TERRAIN TIR, does anyone know what tire that refers to specifically?

Over the weekend I was showing built status and date of 11/5 on both the Ford Tracker and Ordertrack.app websites, and received the built email from Ford yesterday.

Now when I look at any of the tracking sites I'm back to "In Production", but the Ford site still shows a built date of 11/5 even thought that bubble isn't filled in anymore. Hoping its just a web glitch

I'd like to know this, as well.

ALSO, I'd like to know if there are any other tire options in that size that would meet the load rating and maybe get some more range than the ATs on the Pro. The AT vs All-Season tires on the Rivian makes a pretty substantial difference.

I vaguely remember reading about a similar issue recently. I wouldn't sweat yet.

Mileage on the same tire new vs used is even measurable, I bet if you had the money for it you could get a decent boost to your range (I'm gonna SWAG it at 5%). Also, I've never owned high efficiency tires but I've driven a car with them, I won't sacrifice my snow performance for mileage. They sucked in the snow, but I do understand it is only 1 data point.

Assuming 2023 is same as 2022: Michelin Primacy XC - Size: 275/65R18

Edit:
I don't think replacing new tires with "more efficient" ones will ever make sense financially.
thanks, but looking at those tires, they look to be all season, not all terrain. I don’t really mind either way, I won’t be replacing them until they’re worn out. I was just curious because I wanted to check out the specs

I won't actually change them, probably, but I'm just interested.

I also like good handling, so I'd be interested if there are some higher performance summer tires available, too, and what the range hit would be.

I wouldn't mind having an extra set of wheels/tires, depending on what I was planning to do. Long trip? Toss on the low-rolling-resistance All-Seasons. Normal driving/commuting where range doesn't matter? Stock tires, maybe even summer tires.

You have me doubting myself but I am fairly certain these are the AT tires.

Michelin says they're ATs.

https://www.michelinman.com/auto/tires/michelin-primacy-xc

Developed in conjunction with the world's leading truckmakers, Michelin launched the MICHELIN® Primacy™ XC tire to deliver not only light All-Terrain performance, but also a quiet and comfortable ride on-road and excellent fuel efficiency.

Thanks for confirming :)

I think they will be decent all around tires on the Lightning however I will likely change to "snowflake" rated AT tires when they wear out even if it costs me some range.

The pure money ROI wouldn't be good, but if it was good for 20 miles of range (Rivians are seeing way more than that), maybe it would be worth it if someone was doing lots of long trips or towing or something.

It's more of an academic question than a purely practical one.

Could be worth it to someone who had a 100-mile cold weather commute or a frequent trip of 220 miles or something like that just as a bit of a buffer.

Interesting, thanks. Tire rack had them listed as all season for some reason, unless I looked at the wrong tire. Thanks for confirming

I'm sure that Ford has a logistical nightmare on its hands, but my experience with the Bronco and my experience with the Lightning so far makes me think Ford is really pretty bad at this stuff.

Why tell me my vehicle is in production and scheduled for production on 10/24 and then a blend date 10/27, but now I'm just stuck on a chip hold and in production? And nobody can tell me if I can take delivery before the end of the year (which would get me the tax credit of $7500 that I'll lose if I take delivery later).

What do you guys think? Why would Ford give estimated production dates if they can't accurately forecast when the truck will be ready to ship? Why not just wait to provide estimates until after the chips are in?
