I'm still stuck in "in production" jail. Blend date was October 27th. Ford Chat and my Dealer have both said they can't estimate whether I'll get the vehicle before the end of this year, and if I take delivery next year, I will lose any tax benefit/rebate, which is a total deal breaker for me.

It looks like the latest ETA on the spreadsheet above is 12/7, so maybe there is still hope.

And here we go, my dealer is starting with the crap now that I asked them for an updated estimate on time. They said the private offer is to offset the October increase and I said no way, that's to offset the 22-23 increase for wave 1 invites. He said "He would check into it". We'll see...

Does anyone have any official Ford updated documentation on the price protection increases post order?

Oh I'm literally on the phone with them right now. Once I get 100% verified confirmation then I will drive to the dealer and repeat the process if they "haven't figured it out yet".

Literally just got off the phone with them and they told me they have no information they can only tell me if I have a private offer and when it expires (1/3/23) but it’s up to the dealer to apply it and tell me the details.

Same here. They also said the dealer has ultimate authority to charge whatever they want and the best I can do is file a complaint with Ford. I am so furious, there has to be a way around this.

This always seemed like the likely outcome based on the lack of guidance from Ford. Until there was something in writing, it was always going to be low-grade information warfare between dealers and buyers. Really unfortunate.

Keep us posted. My sales guy is out of town but I tried to get the process started. I’ll be going there Friday to verify they know the procedure. I’m not optimistic they will be forthcoming right out of the gate.
