Some chip holds taking much longer than others. I guess it's based on your config.

Seems to be pretty random...I only have spray in bedliner option.
@Hatchback, do you know what number you were in line (on window sticker)? Mine says 48/471.

I was 115/938 (sticker initially showed) and 32/471(later updated with the bed liner numbers).
Pro with max tow, tow tech, pro power and spray bed liner.

I was originally 44/938 but then 49/471 with the most recent window sticker. Looks like your one ahead of me @Gnarwhl so it will be interesting to see if ours ship on the same train to CA.

Hmm curious if it’s something with the cameras, backup assist, etc. or if it’s something else in the truck that throws the microchip hold

I'm just catching up over the holidays. I entered blend date of 12/2. I just checked and I have modules and a tear tag.
By the way, what is the significance of the tear tag? I tracked my Powerboost order earlier this year, but brain dumped all the info.
I still do now show built in the tracker. I did order max tow and spray in bedliner. Perhaps its a hold up with that? I'm going to chat online with Ford and see if I can find out more.
edit: ford chat is pretty useless. They said still in production and to keep I touch with dealer. I then asked there are any holds. She said yes, but couldn’t tell what the hold was for.
with all modules and a tear tag I thought thought the truck is built and next awaiting shipment?

Added the vin to FordPass and after logging back in , I have the activate button. I’d surmise to think my hold is the spray in bedliner. Hopefully it will get done soon.

I could see that as the case too lol. Im going to give it a day or so and do ford chat again. It will probably be shipped ha. When tracking my PowerBoost this year, there was a lag of info. A day later they would say the truck was in Nashville, but a day earlier it was sitting in ramp 51 etc.

Talked with another rep who confirmed my fear. I'm on a microchip hold. No ETA on their end. Interesting as my truck has modules and tear tag etc. Hopefully its not a long wait until shipping.

Did they give you an estimated delivery? They told me 12/22-12/29. I’m blend 12/7 though so I’m curious if they gave you an estimated delivery and since then retracted it
