ProPower On/Off using FordPass App - Anyone's Actually Working?

When the Pro Power Control feature showed up in my app months ago I got excited, but it doesn't seem to work other than show usage.

Has anyone figured out how to actually turn the ProPower on from the app? Really getting tired of having to put my truck into "ProPower" mode by disconnecting my phone, turning off climate control, turning off heated seats, vehicle power down timer, yada yada.

I had the same issue….I thought the remote for ProPower should work like the remote for Zone Lighting and remote Start/Stop/Lock/Unlock….I was wrong, and it took me over 2 months to have an epiphany and understand how the remote control for ProPower works…..

Something @TaxmanHog posted about the in-truck activation of the FordPass app features lead me to realize the remote ProPower control features requires your phone to be within the same proximity of the truck as is required for PAAK to work….in other words, a Bluetooth connection between your phone and your truck must be active.

Otherwise, a Cellular-only connection allows you to only monitor the current state of the ProPower.

I need to run another operational test of PPOB after getting the MIL-DTE update, just to make sure it's still working as it was since a recent APP update. Will test BT controls when near the truck and how it functions when out of BT range.

Yeah, I also realized this after I took delivery.

Bummed me out because I keep a Powered Cooler in the frunk. It'd be nice to switch it on if I happen to need to keep something frozen vs having to wait 20 minutes for it to chill down.
