The holiday and various people being off work. Just so happened that every day someone was off that prevented me from getting the truck until today.

Potentially some good news for you - if your income qualifies in 2022, you are good for the tax credit in 2023. The IRS details released yesterday say you just need to qualify in year of delivery or previous year.

Thats if you would qualify, if you don’t in either year no tax credit for you.

Wow! I need to read this in writing..I barely qualify this year, but won’t next year.


edit: I just read it makes sense to me. Totally removes delivery stress as it doesn’t appear it’s getting here tomorrow ( window 12/30-1/5). Now all I have to worry about is my trade. Not too optimistic on that ha.

I just picked up my Antimatter Blue XLT SR from Family Ford in NJ! Been sitting there for about a week until the dealer could get their shit together and let me buy the truck.

Got the purchase email from Ford, so truck must be at the dealer. I've contacted my sales rep for next steps. AFAIK, they never contacted Ford and got the PCO + price protection sorted out, so I'm betting those games are just beginning.

Took some hassle to get the pricing worked out but got it resolved and picking up the truck tomorrow morning!

I've got a great email I wrote up with all the dealer communications from Ford along with that Tim Bartz video. I'll forward it to you if you want it. PM me your email. Once the right person actually got it, they sorted it out in about an hour.

Their Ford rep was giving them incorrect info so made me look pretty crazy. The sales person was a useless go-between who just made things worse. Once I got a call from somebody with a brain, it was actually a pretty good experience.

I just checked this morning and as I suspected, the delivery date has changed on the tracker now to 1/3-1/9.

Looks like mine will be one day too late. It’s in Kent, about 20 miles south. Dealer doesn’t think it will get here today. They offered to put it on contract but the IRS already covered that loophole. Has to be delivered (not sure what they use to tell).

I sent a similar email a few days ago and haven't gotten a response yet...

My truck hasn't showed up yet and my dealer doesn't seem to know how to check where it is. Losing hope.
I will prob be +/- $5k from the income limit this year and prob not anywhere close next year. Sold some stocks at a loss this week hopefully to reduce my income bit. Without the $7.5k rebate, not sure I'm gonna get it. Guess I'm gonna be doing a bunch of math this weekend to see if I will qualify...

Just took delivery of my white Pro! Dealer gave me the $7,000 PCO. I spent a week arguing them about the $5,000 price protection. In the end, they promised to pass a check on from Ford if/when they receive it.

I picked up my pro this morning! No funny business with my dealer after I got there. I did get multiple comments along the lines of "I can't believe your getting a lightning for $12k off sticker!"

Got the full story from the sales person about the PCO + price protection. Their Ford rep kept telling them they can only apply one or the other but not both. The GM ended up calling their previous rep from a month ago and they confirmed the PCO + price protection. Then, I was good to go. So, if anybody has trouble with bad info from the Ford rep, beg and plead for them to talk to another source at Ford.

The tuck is awesome! I feel like it's highly optioned for a base model so very happy with what I got for the price.

Put my husky floor mats in and getting a quote from the dealer for the OEM running boards. Stubby antenna is on the way. What changes are others making? Do we know how much the FordPass points are worth?

So sticker was 52k and you paid 45k base and waiting for a 5k check? Did they show you on their screen the Ford incentives for your reservation#? If not, dang, it should be a universal process to sort all of this out.

I have pretty much the same setup as you. Installed OEM take offs from eBay which costed 180. They are a perfect fit and only take about 30 minutes to install. Wheel well liners are next for me.
