Any ideas why it would take >2 weeks to put a truck on a train? I am struggling to understand what the destination charge covers and why Ford would estimate a fast delivery by 12/21 only to hold the truck for 2 weeks. Another let down of many I am afraid....

Got the call from my dealer on Thursday the 29th that the truck had arrived. I bought it Friday, the 30th! Very happy that it made it within the year. Attached is a pic of her in the garage - a cozy fit! Love it so far!

Well y’all, truck is going into service on Friday for at least the weekend. I’ll get a rental from ford. Sad for me but happy to have the truck by new year and hopefully get this software fixed. :(

What happened?
A lot of issues charging and zero modem and gateway operation. Called ford technical which they can see into the computer and I also have abs errors and power steering errors.
I’m so thankful I made the 1000 mile trip home but ran into a lot of dcfc issues.

Yikes! I've barely driven mine compared to your 1000 miles... But all the connected services seem to be working. Hopefully they can just reset some stuff and everything clears out and you'll get it back quick.

What's difficult is most dealers don't want to help because I didn't purchase it from them. But I was active duty, I can't change dealerships when the reservation is converted to an order and the army moves me around. Maybe @Ford Motor Company can reach out to the dealership I'm going to on Friday and work some magic.

Very difficult for me because our Mach E was working right out of the box. Update, Bluecruise, etc.

Meanwhile my Bluecruise 3 year subscription is running, I needed to use all 250kw of our complementary charging to get home at terrible mileage due to the poor software installed. Ugh, I want to love this truck but right now it's a 90k dollar annoyance.

I should remind them of that when I’m there, but I don’t want to rub anyone the wrong way. Just want to enjoy my truck.

Dealerships get weird about some of this. Often it's because their service departments are busy and warranty reimbursement from Ford is usually paid at lower rates than they can bill for non-warranty services. So they don't want to dedicate time to lower-paying work and will try to only field warranty work for customers who've bought from them. Even though, they really can't do that as it's against Ford policy to turn away warranty customers and downright unethical too. ...Unethical is not something most car dealerships seem to understand.
