On the “Charge your non-Tesla” portion of the Tesla app they specifically ask people to not park sideways, so that will likely limit Lightning drivers to the end stalls only. Of course, the superchargers around me are almost never full, so I don’t think anyone will care.

It is actually unclear what Tesla is expecting to happen. Two stalls are going to be taken up but all CCS cars with charging ports on the front drivers side. In the picture below the red Tesla would not be able to park in the designated stall to charge.

Assuming that the "wrong" side vehicles are smart enough to stay together, it would only waste a single spot in a supercharger row.

Don't worry so much. It will be ok.

Only was pumping 60kW out but I was at a high SOC and cold soaked battery.

I had to get EXTREMELY close to the charger but it reached nosing in.

This didn't seem that close at all. If it reached then we'll have no problems. With the camera you can accurately get within an inch or two of the station.

There was a concrete barrier post that my truck was an inch from. That camera is a life saver. If that wasn’t there I could have gotten closer

Ok. That makes sense..can't see in video. I often park really close to walls in our paking garage to avoid the truck sticking into the aisle
