Does anyone knows the procedure to reset the tires sensors after a tire rotation. I’m bringing mine to my mechanic since this is a very basic procedure.

Why such a convoluted procedure? On our current cars, we press a button to reset the tire pressure monitors. Given that everything is computerized in todays cars, this seems so unnecessary.

Let's clarify - there is no procedure. There is nothing to do. You simply rotate the tires, and the truck will recognize it. This is a case of people not carefully reading before proclaiming their outrage.

You must reset the tire pressure monitoring system after each tire rotation on vehicles that require different recommended tire pressures in the front tires as compared to the rear tires.

Quick show of hands - how many Lightnings specify different tire pressure in the front tires? Answer - likely zero.

Now if you CHOOSE to run different pressures in the front, that still isn't an issue unless you're way above (or below) the TPMS setting, which is what's on the door sticker.

Sorry all that outrage was wasted for no reason. o_O ;)
