Picked this SQ up yesterday. I was waiting for an invite to order a '23 in Avalanche but dealer had this '22 available. The color will have to grow on me but any color Lightning is a good Lightning!

SQ wasn't on my radar especially since it is not an option any more on the 2023 MY. But wife and I both liked it. It was funny when they were giving me the temporary tag, they had to put the basic color on the tag. They couldn't decide whether to put blue or gray, eventually the sales guy decided on blue.

I am tempted to change the decals to matte black, but would love to see if someone has already done this. Anyone changed the color of the decal (other than the American flag posted earlier?).

I put matte black on my Carbonized Grey both on the charging cover and tailgate. I like the matte on the tailgate, however I wish I had gone raised glossy on the charging cover. The flat matte did not really "pop" since it is relatively small.

Those both look good. I see what you mean about the charging port; but it does match the emblem underneath. Think the matte black would look good on the back of SQ?

It's kinda ironic since Smoked Quartz was discontinued for MY23+ that Ford's social media team is resurrecting a dead thread to celebrate it. I ended up getting AMB but man I really liked the look of SQ.

Yea I was surprised to get the notification today as well! I originally had the white on order but this truck came from a dealer and I was happy to get the deal at the time. Don't think I'd go back to a dark color though - just looks dirty way too quickly after a wash, even with the ceramic coat.
