I'm confused i was a day one res holder. I finanly ordered a Pro on 9/28/22 and I don't remmber what the price was. It now shows 55,974 plus destination. It's scheduled for early May to be built. I've been thinking that's just to much money. Would I qualify for anything or is it not that cut and dry?
Hmmm, 9/28 seems significantly after Wave 1 of MY23 invites. Did you actually have the option to buy a Pro, or did you get one via the glitch others reported? As far as I recall (may be wrong here), only Wave 1 Pro orders, Wave 2 XLT orders, and people that had ordered during MY22 but weren't built and got pushed to MY23 were extended the price protection.

If you ordered September you should be locked in to the $46974 MSRP. But most likely not eligible for the $7000 private offer

I ordered in 8/22 and took delivery in early 2/23. $7k private offer was applied at time of purchase, with the promise of price protection $$ when the dealer received it from Ford. Just got a call from the dealership’s new car manager saying I should see a check by next week, so I’m optimistic. Theoretically I should be getting $9100 (2 price increases + destination charge increase), if so I’ll have that rare unicorn $40k Pro.

You are correct. $9,100 is the price protection amount on August ordered Pro's. Ordered mine on 8/11, just picked it up 4 days ago. That amount was subtracted from the window sticker, then tax, title, license etc was added, then the $7,000 private savings offer was subtracted. I'm one of the few who received all of the offers up front....no waiting.

I think you may be the first one I've heard of getting the full $7000 + $9100 - and up front at that! My dealer also charged sales tax before deducting the $7k private offer, so assuming I get the full $9100 price protection I will have paid $1127 in sales tax on the private offer and price protection, which is kind of annoying. But considering what the current sticker price is I'm not complaining.

My truck’s blend date is next week and I’m preparing for my future purchase. I have a price protected truck and am just curious how you have been handling it.
My dealer acknowledges the price protection and said they will submit the paperwork for the reimbursement from ford.
For those that have done it, how did you structure the purchase? Did you get in writing they would submit or price protection? Did you get in writing the check would be turned over in its entirety? Because I would imagine the sales contract will be for the sticker on the window.

Don't be too sad, my additional sales tax on the private offer + protections adjustments is closer to $2k...

Yep all the price protection should be taken off prior to tax calculation, you shouldn't be paying taxes on that $9100. But the $7000 is a rebate that the dealer should treat like a down payment. Back when mine arrived we only had to worry about $5000 not $9100. What I fight I had to get the $5000 off at the time of the deal. Never got nasty just a long day at the dealership.

He says the $9100 was taken off first then $7000 was taken off after tax was calculated just like it should. The $7000 is technically a rebate.

I think in California both the $7000 and $9100 sale adjustments are taxed, even if by some miracle your dealer honors both at purchase and doesn't wait for the reimbursement from Ford...

I'm curious what my dealer is going to say, my purchase price on the order is $53 and the sticker is almost $67. I don't think I'm supposed to have the $7500 private offer.

I got a 22 invite and it was converted to a 23, and I ordered an XLT on 9/16. MSRP was $59k and change when I ordered. MSRP on the 22 XLT was $52k and change. I was told by Ford around time of ordering that there was a private cash offer and price protection, to get the 23 pricing back to 22 numbers. My truck was delivered a week ago, and the dealer is saying I qualify for price protection ($6500) off current 23 XLT MSRP, but that's it.
I called Ford marketing and they said the same. Anyone have any advice on getting the private cash offer?

Tell them to message their zone rep. You got to go up the chain of command

They said they opened a case with Ford and discussed with their zone rep. Anyone have a specific person at Ford Marketing who would be good to talk with?
