I just received this error in the Fordpass app this morning, with the body of the message saying "Your scheduled start was not initiated because My F-150 has low DTE while unplugged. Please plug in your vehicle to increase your DTE level.
I'm assuming that DTE is distance to empty, so I'm assuming this is some weird glitch since my truck was plugged in and at 80% charge, plus it did actually start at the scheduled time just like normal. I saw that multiple people had this same error on the Mach-e forums, but didn't see anything about it here.

I had one overnight and into this morning that said on my app: "extend your Vehicle's ON time by 15minutes" with a little arrow next to it: hunh?? So, I thought it was a glitch... and pressed the arrow, anyway... the truck came ON, although it had NOT already been on.... strange strange strange.

"SRS failed due to low DTE" error
SRS has meant Supplemental Restraint System (air bags, etc.) for 30 years. It doesn't make sense to have a failure due to a Distance To Empty error. I'd be concerned enough to have it checked if that's what the error message really said. And, if it really abbreviates anything else as SRS, shame on the engineers.

I got the exact some message on my phone this morning. My truck was plugged in all night and had 79% charge this morning. It was still charging and the truck was in the process of preconditioning the cab. Please post any updates you have if you find out why this happened and I'll do the same.

Wonder if this a cloud/database glitch?

I received the message this morning as well right before cabin conditioning started. Cabin condition completed ready for drive time. Truck is plugged in and charged at 90%.

Received this as well. I was parked in my driveway, charging all night... Sounds like a glitch/unintentional push.

Definitely tied to being plugged in, as I have not been plugged in all week and never got this alert.

Possibly they are in the midst of a reconfiguration of the database, regarding the drive trip log issues.

I too had this happen last two days in a row. I was plugged in charging & above 80% charged. The preconditioning seemed to be running when I went to the truck. I received PU0306-BCF-DET on 7/10/23.

I wouldn't think that it's due to any updates, I haven't had any on my truck yet

Possibly plugged in and a departure time set? I’ve been plugged in without a departure time set and have not gotten the message.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Lightning concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.
