The deal I made with the general manager of the dealership was he would get me the 10k off when the truck arrived that never happened. So yes I will stick to my deal send me a check.

I purchased mine 3 weeks before the adjustment.

As much as I'd like a rebate or even to be allowed to get the federal rebate, it is pretty clear from Ford's silence that they have no plans to offer rebates. I'd take it as a painful lesson learned in this new car sales environment. I'm frustrated but it is what it is, can't let it trouble you more than that.

Unfortunately this happens all the time as prices on things fluctuate. And it happens with everything not just EVs. Usually the prices go UP however.

People get upset when they buy just before the price decrease but no one ever seems to say anything when they buy right before the price increase.

You paid the asking price of the truck day you signed the contract. In hindsight it's disappointing, absolutely, but nobody has a crystal ball. And anyone at ford who knew about the price decrease would be accused of market manipulation and/or insider trading if they shared that information with anyone before it became public knowledge.

So likely even in california where laws seemingly are written to harm more than help, you don't have a case.

Nor should you. The price you agreed to pay was the price on the paper you signed. And if my consumer law professor is to be believed (debatable) and you entered into a side agreement with the dealer against published Ford pricing policy, it is possible you are in as much trouble as the dealer will be. So I would say don't poke that hornet's nest.

Same boat. Bought mine on July 5th. I wouldn't be as upset if I had just missed out on a sale but it's the fact that the MSRP is what was changed. This being the 3rd MSRP change in a model year is ridiculous in my opinion.

Ford did send out tons of checks to people who ordered and then the price went up. Ask me know I know. I got my refund.
