Stock Hankook AT2s at 9000mi. Kept at 36 pissys per the door, which usually results in around 38/39 while driving.

Seems like the fronts are wearing hard. Kinda wishing I'd rotated at 5000mi but I was holding out for the 1 year service.

Stock tires are on the truck. A new factory set is right next to them. Note the height difference and tread difference.

This inline with what y'all are seeing? Seems pretty bad.

Unless both tires are mounted on the same size wheel, those height comparisons are meaningless.
They are. They're both factory 20s with the AT tire. Same rim, same tire, as they left the factory.

One is laden with truck weight the other is not, so you're losing a little height due to squish of the truck mounted tire. What does a depth gauge measure show for all four old tire F/R?

@TaxmanHog figured it out before I did! I was typing as he posted, but here goes:

Those photos don't make sense to me. New tread depth is 10/32" or about 1/3 of an inch. Bald tires would be only 2/3 of an inch shorter. Get a depth measuring device at the auto parts store. Here are my front and rear after 10K miles.

775 ftlbs of torque. If you ever had a diesel truck tire wear is similar.

Iā€™m in the 20ā€ OEMs at 22k miles and measure 7/32 of tread depth. This is with Texas hot temps too, so not too bad! We had an suv that made it 6k miles on its OEM hankooks, so Iā€™ll never buy them (Brian Cooley from CNET ON CARS actually did one of his videos for me! Explaining ā€˜take offsā€™ and etc, what a blast that was!) . Our Lexus made it 12k on its first OEM set. Iā€™m hoping to get 30k out of these but will check them often. I rotate at every 5K miles.

My ā€˜99 7.3 F250 Super Duty w/6 speed stick would scrub the tires from every stop if I wasnā€™t easy on the clutch. I got about 35K per set. As I was towing 13K on the hitch I eventually went to Load Range E at 70 psi šŸ˜‚. Unloaded itā€™d roll at 24 mpg and after 400 miles youā€™d be deaf with all your fillings rattled out. Loved that truck though.

5000 mile rotation FTW!

One other thing.. IRS plays into this as well as taking corners at speed. My S.O. drove our Adrenalin (4.6 AWD-IRS) for the first few years and she couldnā€™t get a set of tires to last 30K. I rode with her once and she took a roundabout so fast all four tires shrieked šŸ”„. I though ā€œOh yikes no wonder those 20ā€ Pirellis are toastā€. That rear negative camber also showed up in the Mach E.

I would suggest scientific dimes, it would be much more dramatic.šŸ¤Ŗ
