I forgot to mention I do have tear sheet and BCE modules populated, but still on hold.

You are not alone.... Same here, truck is built, production date shows 8/15/23 while the window sticker is still showing the blending date of 8/11/23.....I forgot to mention I do have tear sheet and BCE modules populated, but still on hold.
If you're lucky a holding lot driver will accept it when moving the truck, assuming it's waiting for a part that might happen when the task is completed, or when they move it to a train car or convoy trailer (local deliveries around 400 miles +/-) of DearbornToday, I just tried again to enter the VIN in the Ford Pass app and the system recognized the vehicle existence; all I need to do is to activate the vehicle in the app but it requires access to the vehicle itself....
Unless somebody in the forum knows how to retrieve the GPS location of the vehicle... That would be awesome if it was possible.... Any ideas, anybody? Thanks.
This morning I tried again to activate the truck and to my surprise I got the following answer: "activation pending on the truck".If you're lucky a holding lot driver will accept it when moving the truck, assuming it's waiting for a part that might happen when the task is completed, or when they move it to a train car or convoy trailer (local deliveries around 400 miles +/-) of Dearborn
Just went to my FordPass App and got the same thing. hope that means progress! Though when you tap on the Activation Pending button, the message does say, "...it may be because your vehicle cannot connect to the internet."This morning I tried again to activate the truck and to my surprise I got the following answer: "activation pending on the truck".
I'm with you, it means the truck is built but at a stop somewhere in the factory or on the factory parking lot.Just went to my FordPass App and got the same thing. hope that means progress! I just watched a YouTube video saying that the Ford dealerships are pilling up their new vehicle inventory ahead of the possible UAW workers strike...I'm with you, it means the truck is built but at a stop somewhere in the factory or on the factory parking lot.
My Ford pass app was telling me that the VIN was correct and alive but it was also telling me that I couldn't activate the truck until I physically bought it... And this morning it went through for whatever reason.... So keep trying as many times as you can during the day or every other day, you never know when it will respond to your request.....
My hope is trying to find the reported GPS location and plot it in Google maps..... But there no guarantee the we will succeed; like in my case, somebody has to physically accept the modem activation request in the truck on the big display..... We will see, I'll keep checking, you never know....
UPDATE!No progress past "IN PRODUCTION"
This is @harlano 's 8/11 build running down the line on 8/14, tear tag issued but still waiting for QC passage and BUILT flag date.
Based on the production tracker, it was actually built on 8/15, sales folks are often bending the truth.UPDATE!
Just got off the phone with my deal. They made a call to check on my Lightning and said that it was built on 08/11 (the blend date) and that it awaiting shipment! Though the website is still showing In Production for me, the guy on the phone said that he would expect to see it come in sometime in September.
Not sure how accurate his information is, but I'm going to choose to believe it!

After receiving my email of doom on the 17th I called both my dealer and ford directly, both told me they showed it built with no exceptions listed. Unfortunately the longer this goes on the more frustrating it becomes. It's pretty bad when ford customer service has no idea why it's not showing built and we are on forums hoping for insiders in the plant to tell us about QC holds while ford is sending us emails saying there is supply chain issues and they want nothing more than quote send it down the line and assemble it, at the same time fords customer service can verify it went down the line because it has a tear tag. Ford needs to realize that this non dealer lot model requires them to be front and center in customer service and do better! People make choices like selling current vehicles that require some form of timeline not an email that says we commit to sending u another form letter email in 45 daysUPDATE!

Which is precisely why I am very worried about the build quality of my truck...7/31 is still waiting as well, remember this is like a new launch, ok to buy will happen, hopefully soon.
