I am also a lurker but I want the Massage seats on my Lariat that I think is only available on the Platinum
Same here! Though I think it'll be difficult for a couple reasons, one: the massage seats were only available on super early production 2022 models and two: the platinum seats also have built in speakers designed to work with the upgraded version of the B&O sound system so I wonder if that affects harness compatibility...

if you look at my spreadsheet the pins for audio are referenced, the question there would be is sourcing the right feeds for these, and or if they exist in your harness I think more likely in lariats or a system that already has the B&O system adding that from scratch likely prove more difficult

Ill upload the C311 (driver seat) and C312 (passenger seat) pinout diagrams tomorrow some time if you want to lookup or reference what you have (if you are higher trim than a pro)

Don't mean to keep putting out random updates, but all parts ordered hoping should be able to start next weekend.

Updated spreadsheet in first post with more details, pin part numbers, estimated wire runs, and what I ordered. I also uploaded PDFs of all the plugs I had looked at or talked about touching so full pinout diagrams available there.

Still deciding on crimping new pins vs splice the pins from the included foot or so of donor vehicle harness.

I also have 2 pins or circuits relating to the rear seats that are still a little uncertain on availability or location to access them but that may just have to wait till the truck is disassembled so to speak to see in the console harness and trace the CBP36 circuit from the BCM C22280C pin 8 for a good place to tapp or splice as I believe its already populated

I'm afraid you'd need to modify a lot more to get the correct feeds for those hearest speakers - you'd need a different amplifier (the B&O Unleashed amp is different from the regular B&O - has more inputs and outputs more power) which also requires re-wiring all the other speakers since it changes which speakers come from the B&O amp and which come from the in-dash amp.

Small update got my parts from mouser in today,

Partum's for C311/C312 pins fort he center row the ones 2.8mm wide seem like a exact match same size and even same numbering stamped on left and right sides of the pins.

Ford F-150 Lightning 2022 Lightning Pro Seat Swap/Upgrade to Heated/Cooled 1694117941769

Ford F-150 Lightning 2022 Lightning Pro Seat Swap/Upgrade to Heated/Cooled 1694117964093

Ford F-150 Lightning 2022 Lightning Pro Seat Swap/Upgrade to Heated/Cooled 1694117988909

The partum's for the 1.5mm pins from C311/C312 I listed in the spreadsheet these don't quite seem a exact match, but think they are a case of different mfg but made to the same spec dimensionally the locking points seem the same. the blade is ever so slightly wider ill test it on the female side of the plug later but suspect these will work without issue and are quite economically priced.

Just another update, had the parts and the time to mess with HSW and installing HVAC unit getting that installed and configged.

In regards to HVAC module, lightning seem to have a distinctly different firmware (and or potentially config). You cannot use the same parts as ICE vehicles

for any others i would strongly recommend stick to only heated seats for any retro fits as there is native lightning HVAC units that support it.

I'm still digging and or trying to find a workaround, either in firmware flashing or modification of the controls themselves but it doesn't look great.

So no luck with the HSW then? Man, I was hoping that the HVAC controls would fix that issue...

thats the one i would have expected to be easy, and or should work even with the other half of the HVAC not actually working to provide heat/cooling

I had made necessary changes to SCCM, IPMA, APIM, and HVAC to enable HSW but currently no dice, also verified that I do have good voltage coming out the the BCM to that pin.

I was going to do some more looking this evening on the HSW front, if anything i expect the ICE HVAC module should be more likely to communicate/ power up the HSW than the stock bev one.

I'm kind of in a weird limbo, on this project with HVAC units mainly i have some time set aside later this month to work more and look into the seat wiring. Its just such a pain to swap around HVAC units (lots of trim) that i want to keep it to a minimum.

did some more work tonight and i have HSW working WWOOHOO

Ford F-150 Lightning 2022 Lightning Pro Seat Swap/Upgrade to Heated/Cooled 1694652941551

also what on screen controls look like with below settings changes how the main menu navigation works too no longer the bar on the bottom

So bear in mind this is still with the the pictured ICE HVAC unit (which cannot actually do heating or cooling) But i configured HVAC with stock PRO config via forscan, still need to ultimately try swapping back to stock hvac unit (or force re-flashing it) but keeping the ICE unit in there till i finish HC seat install.

then in APIM

Also for folks trying to enable HSW onscreen on lightning with stock HVAC modules you may need to

change 4 to 6 in that cell

4 =CHW Continuous Heated Wiper is NOT permitted • HWMM Load Cycling is AVAILABLE for Maintenance • HSW Vehicle does NOT have a HSW
6 =CHW Continuous Heated Wiper is NOT permitted • HWMM Load Cycling is AVAILABLE for Maintenance • HSW Vehicle DOES have a HSW

Don't forget to go in and reset modules individually via wrench to be sure

Looks like this would be the HVAC module to use, according to the retrofits that are being done for our trucks: NL3Z- 19980-S

Lightning HVAC units have different firmware on them, and or may be different hardware (to me that is the real question) as they have different heating and cooling systems/strategies. What I want to try doing is flashing the ICE HVAC module with BEV firmware. But First I intend to see if the stock module can send the proper signals via SYNC4 despite not having the physical buttons

this weekend I should be able to get the wiring and seats in so expect some followups

If you can still return that HVAC unit, this is the one they're installing in XLT lightnings when they retrofit the heated steering wheel. It's only like 105 bucks from varsity Ford too. Might be easier than fighting with a part

I still need the HC seat controls too but that is another good failback option I don't think a version exists with the lightning.

what is curious is that part isn't spec'd as being compatible with the lightning? That partnum is the ice variant i would be curious if they have been doing anything else or if its baked into the NL3Z "family" of hvac units

This one has the heated and cooled seat controls, at least according to the pictures shown on the tech sheets. Mike G posted them here https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/heated-steering-wheel-retrofit-pu-22g06.16703/
