So….what are the right questions to ask Ford Chat? I’m 0-4 in getting anything useful out of them and get no information I don’t already see at shop.ford (and 3 of 4 times got nothing more than being pointed there).

I’ve entered a different room in The Waiting Place. Speaking only for myself, I came to realize this watched pot will boil, but my constant monitoring has zero effect on it. My salesman/dealership seem indifferent. I’m gonna try not to monitor it for the rest of the weekend. Closing those pages on my phone now…

Statistically speaking, you got any sort of median from built to shipped? Seems trucks sit for an unreasonably long time before going anywhere.

I am not doing a detailed time study on current production [7/31 forward] like I did last year, but if past history were to repeat, 13 days would be the mean.

My tracker statue is into ''Production'' since 10-2 ; Update on 10-8 without any change of status and my truck's been shipped (Confirm by ford chat and my dealer) 10-12

I know am not the only one in this position , Let's hope that this maintenance fixes somes of this!

What you're all experiencing is no worse than the original launch / regular production in the spring of 2022, with the shutdown this past summer and resulting ~issues~ has put them back to the same predicament.

Once they get into a good rhythm production tracking will be more predictable, Ford is light years ahead of the competition.

A dealership near me has an XLT similar to “mine” up for grabs. Salesman says 5.99% is his best financing rate for 60 months. Wondering if I can do better…

I think this is where much of my frustration is coming from. I may be wrong but I feel like direct customer orders should be prioritized over dealer stock and I’m seeing more and more of these stories of comparable cars showing up at available dealerships while I’ve got probably another 6 weeks plus before they get around to getting mine to me. I feel like they advertised October delivery knowing full well they were already into late November.

This one is a green sticker (special order). Homeboy musta backed out. Gonna be a lot of backing out with these rates. I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than 3.9%.

Looking around, seems like 6% over 60-72 months is the going rate.
