I for sure have this issue but not listed yet as a recall for my VIN. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow and had scheduled that visit before seeing these posts for weak/no heat. Will bring a copy of this recall with me and if you are listening here @Ford Motor Company please add this recall to my truck ;)

So, yesterday I got a resolution. But not the way I expected. My dealer contacted me and had someone back out of a Platinum order just like mine, except Grey instead of Black. Guess, what. That Grey truck is now on my charge station. My Black truck now continues to sit in recall purgatory.

Congrats!! Glad to see Lightning has finally struck for you.

Does anyone happen to have the part number for the part being recalled?

Finally got this done, along with some other recalls, and I learned a lesson.

Call the day before your appointment and make sure they have the parts!

Wasted my time on the first trip to the dealership after picking it up at 5 PM to find out they did absolutely 0 work on the 3 recalls I had on the appointment due to lack of parts.

I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks out and everything. The second appointment with a call the day before to confirm presence of the parts went much better.

Or find a dealer that doesn’t suck. My dealer won’t schedule me until they have parts. When they schedule, it usually less than a week out.

Just took home a new Lariat. Loving the truck. Was checking my charge level this morning and saw this recall. Searched the forums but didn't see it listed anywhere. Anybody else get this one?

I had this recall on my truck when I bought it new from Dealer, delayed me driving it off the lot by about 10 days (had an ICE loaner while they waited on new part and installed it) as it was a safety stop in USA.

I have not had any issues due to this recall, all is working as expected post repair.

This must be what is wrong with my truck. It's at the dealer waiting for a part. They say the part is backordered with no ETA. What's odd is my build date of 11/23 is outside this recall
No loaners from my dealer and the $60/day rental reimbursement isn't enough (even if I could find an F150 to rent). Unfortunately I am going to initiate a buyback. I can't sit around all summer with no truck. Maine's lemon law is pretty hardcore, 15 business days of downtime is all it takes. 😕

EDIT: Is there any reason I couldn't have my truck towed to a dealer that will give me a loaner? I have yet to read a thread where someone switched dealers mid-nightmare to stack the odds in their favor.

It’s your truck. They can’t hold it hostage. May charge you diagnostic fee.
