Checking for updates with FDRS

Looking to run my vin’s to see what updates are pending. I know some members on here have done that for people and I’m just curious if I was to install FDRS on a computer and pay the subscription am I able to do that as well or is it something only dealer techs have access too? Not looking to buy the mongoose or actually do the updates yet just curious what I would need to check my own vin. I apologize if this had been answered before.

Yes you could just run FDRS to see what updates you have in your list. More expensive and time consuming, (creating login, installing software, paying for a license you can't actually use to do programming without a Mongoose) than asking somebody to run you VIN but, yeah you can do that.

Ok thank you. Yes your right would be cheaper to ask someone. If someone would be kind enough to run my vin, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello just wondering if you would mind running my wife’s vin on her Mach E. On the Ford website it says there is a customer satisfaction program for charge cord stuck. There is supposed to be a OTA update or we can take it in. Just wondering if it’s been done nothing showing in the Pass app.

You can certainly take it in for CSP 23B50, but it has shown up for many people as PowerUp (OTA) 6.6.0.

OTA 6.6.0 updates all the powertrain items in this list:

So after the update the PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC would drop off the list.
