Continue to see my estimated delivery date slip out. Dealership can't give me any better idea of if it is on hold for anything else, or truly in shipment. Anyone else on the 10/2 build week group seeing the same with their build AND gotten a better explanation from their dealer?

Sorry, I can understand the frustration. I can vouch for the dealer in saying that once it is scheduled for a build week, Ford is anticipating that vehicle will be able to be built on that week because of the supplies they currently have or have in-transit to them. So it most likely is an unforseen delay but that isn't communicated to us as dealerhsips.

NOW I see that the delivery date has moved from 12/20 to 12/24. Even though I don't want to take ownership until 1/1/2024 or later, I'm not sure they know where it is. The "Last Updated" date has stayed at 11/07/2023 for the last 5 or 6 updates ... hmmm

If it happens to land at the dealership, discuss delaying the closing until 1/2/24, entice them with a substantial down payment as surety that you're sincere about the purchase, but just need to time it for the tax credit!!

I may just happen be "out of town" the last week of the month if it does come in (up theah in Maine)


It may be interesting to see what incentives are in place next year too!

Assuming you're close, WALK THE LOT un announced, I suspect it's there and they are incompetent.
And should have their franchise revoked NOW!

"100% it's not here, my manager has an email from ford saying it was postponed but the ford computer system has assumed otherwise"

PM returned, you were built but two trucks arrived on rail at the same drop day, but I suspect they convoyed the wrong truck and receipted it into inventory as "your" truck, that one is a black Platinum, vastly priceyer than your Black Pro. can you get to the rail yard? Have the dealer double check the bills of lading and the tracking paper on movement of the Platinum I showed in the DM, someone (CONVOY) eff'd up these moves

if anyone is following.. dealership fails to acknowledge the truck was even built let alone delivered. .loll.
Called ford customer service they said truck is delivered but cant help because sale contract is between me and dealership.

Kinda got a sour taste in my mouth after waiting this long not to mention paying 1k deposit.

the oEMs really need to get a handle on thier dealers.. chevy aint any better... zo6 was same fiasco... once car arrives.. 50k markup

The bumped me back to 12/28/2023 from 12/20/2023 on Thursday. Since I don't want to take ownership until after 1/1/2024 it's not a huge issue but if it gets bumped to next year (and it will) then I'll call and see if anyone knows anything about where it is. It was shipped "convoy" but that's unlikely.

It's lost at either the East Brookfield or Ayer rail yard, New England bound trucks always ride the rail out of the Rouge, then convoy ride to our dealers.
