Isn't there a place we can download our charge logs?
I know there is LightningROD and such, but I just want to download a spreadsheet.

In lieu of such, I just downloaded my electric bill for 2022 & 2023.
As 99% of my charging is at home, I think this is a reasonable comparison of kWh usage since getting the truck.
That caveman comparison shows I used about 3700kWhs more in 2023.

I track my usage the same way I always tracked MPG. You just need to charge to whatever you consider "full" each time and record the kWh and mileage. That way you have a running log of your usage and your MPK.

I guess I don't care *that* much.
My rough numbers give me a good idea as to who little I spend on energy to drive this beast.
I willingly admit to being a data nerd.

Forgot to mention the FCSP log is viewable but not downloadable, you could still record the values week by week or look at the periodic summaries.

Note the 1/17 & 1/15 events were not charging, but the energy I used to remote start / warm the cabin & seats & wheel.

As I use a Tesla charger vs FCSP, I'm not sure if it keeps logs. It probably does, so I'll look into that.

There is this forum thread on the Vue 2. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/emporia-evse-and-vue-gen2-review.12696/ Setting it up to be a whole home monitor sounds a little dangerous with the main 200 A clamps on the main panel (avoid the main lugs and avoid using two hands to close the clamps! - safest to hire an electrician). Did you set your system up, @TaxmanHog, to monitor just your EVSEs or did you go for the whole home thing? Since the FordPass data access is so lame, might be interesting/worth it, just to have a simpler Vue 2 Monitor setup just for my FCSP. A thread on just setting up a Vue 2 to monitor only charging/heating/LVB recharging might be useful for ignorant nerd wannabees like me... AIA if it's a dumb suggestion.

I installed it myself, in my young days I was trained in electrical & electronics, high school and technical trade school, so I am familiar with working safely inside the panel.

I used the mains clamps to monitor just the FCSP, I'm not monitoring the other garage circuits.

in my young days I was trained in electrical & electronics, high school and technical trade school,
I took four years of technical drawing in high school. Later, I wished I had machine shop, electronics, and automotive repair - although I had a baby machine and woodworking shop in middle school. The technical drawing did come in handy later in life, though. Still have my drafting table and all the old-fashioned pen-and-ink tools, lettering sets, straight edges, etc. :)

Did you have any trouble fitting the main clamps into the FCSP? A mention of where you put them or indicating on an open FCSP photo where they're lodged would be helpful to folks like me. If you don't want to offer that info, I'd understand.

Depending on how deep down the rabbit hole you'd like to go I can highly recommend flashing your Vue with ESPhome and running it through HomeAssistant.

Now you have local data storage, near "real time" data, plus really pretty graphs if you run it through influxdb and grafana. Plus the truck integrates nicely via the Ford Pass integration as well.

HomeAssistant doesn't require much hardware vise for something like this, a 4GB ram Raspberry PI ($55) will work just fine.
