Power-Up 4.2.1.1 - Some Good Stuff Here

I find it annoying as well. They just seem to time out after a day or so; would be nice if they would clear once you've taken action on them.

Where do they hire these braindead developers? This vehicle alert is still showing in FordPass after almost a week. Also no one seems to have any input on why the app shows 4.2.1.1 completed, but the truck says the opposite. Good job, Ford. Idiots.

Question for you. Were you notified of the update being ready first in the Tuck display or the Ford Pass App?

Because no one can tell you what happened without access to Ford's system. I would need your VIN.

Reset the APIM to see if it clears it. Truck on, hold down radio power button and forward seek until the touchscreen reboots.

I’ve had no updates since getting my truck in late June 2023. Friday got 4.2.1.1 and Saturday March 2nd got 4.2.1.2
Not had the LVB sensor fixed yet but seems something is moving in getting trucks updated now.

My 4.2.1.2 update chronology:

3:51 pm Updates Downloading
3:54 pm Ready to Install
4:24 pm Completed
5:00 pm Ready to Download

With all this OTA mess I only happy truck works without issues and glitches.

That's normal. You'll see that until the next update comes along, or until that one clears out and it will just say "up to date" even if you aren't.

I’ve had 1 update in 10 months (“Good Stuff”). The truck goes down the road fine though quirky stuff happens with the wonky BMS. Like the perimeter alarms squawking like near dead birds. The sound system sounds like bad A.M. radio. No interior lights. Should be fixed in a week. We will see.

Oct 2023 build here, took possession new this past week. BSM CSP performed Monday. Drove vehicle quite a bit Wed and Thurs. Today after a 15 min drive, the 4.2.1.1. update installed while vehicle was parked away from home. (Interestingly Automatic Updates and WiFi are both turned off.)

Hoping that means movement on updates soon. (We don’t have Charge Assist yet.)

You are the lucky one, similar to us with earlier trucks that have received regular updates. So many throughout '23 have waited months and months. You hit it at the right time, just as the updates have started rolling for the '23's. You should be caught up in a few weeks.

Update finally installed correctly last night after the first time ended in failure over a week ago. After waiting 8 months for the first update, we'll see how things go from here.

When you get a [Drive inhibited] update then the truck will nag you after shut down that it's waiting for your manual install command.

Don't count on it. My build is around the same timeframe and I recieved 4.2.1.2 several weeks ago and nothing since. CSP for battery monitor is done also, so it's not that. I wish there was some way to know when your truck was scheduled for updates.
