Why am I seeing this after "receiving" the 4.2.1.1. I got the completed message and then I got this when I started my truck. Please advise.

Just got 4.2.2.2 - 10 days after 4.2.2.1. Seems only to start downloading when I start the Truck.

Yup. Once an OTA trigger is created on the server for a vehicle, starting it is what allows the OTA to go on to the next step.

This is my first update and it shows up but says “Not Completed”. Not sure what I can do to trigger it to complete. Truck is connected to WiFi, update scheduled for Any day at 1AM, driven around multiple days.

Any ideas, maybe @TaxmanHog

Kick off the install event right after returning from a long drive that gets the LVB SOC as high as possible instead of waiting until the middle of the night, hopefully it'll complete.

Once you start the install now process, switch the headlight to OFF, set parking brake, close doors and lock, take keys and PAAK enabled phone away from the truck, ie out of range, don't query the truck for status updates via Fordpass while it's processing the update, I've gone so far as to force stop the app, for a half hour while it works it's magic (or shut down the phone) Whether or not any of this black magic actually works is debatable.

What is the 12V battery SoC shown on your Ford account?

Well I have tried all of it and no luck. The update remains at not completed.

I am this close to just saying f it and buying everything for FDRS and doing it myself.

Until you've taken your significant other on a dinner date with the Lightning, you haven't tried it all.

Don't count on it. My build is around the same timeframe and I recieved 4.2.1.2 several weeks ago and nothing since. CSP for battery monitor is done also, so it's not that. I wish there was some way to know when your truck was scheduled for updates.
I received 4.2.1.1 a week ago, then 4.3.x showed up and yesterday 6.1 on my xlt Built in oct 2023.

Seems like the more I drive the more come in .. almost like ford needs to be sure it didn’t make a brick.

There is more to that than you might think. Ford will queue up release, but the truck must be started and check in with the mothership for the release to download and install.

It's not like Tesla where SW downloads any time you are on wifi and then notifies you. You have to drive to get the download and notification with Ford.

Last update I got after purchasing the truck was March 8th. I’ve had the truck for a couple weeks now. I had to get the BMS sensor CSP and HVB update shortly after taking delivery. It downloaded and updated 4.2.1.1 like the screenshot from my app shows, but now it’s stuck on not completed with something shown in my updates. I know this has been asked before but even when I got the CSP work they said they “updated everything” and it would take a few days to show? Anyways it’s been a week almost since the CSP were completed and the supposed updates. The truck is great and I think I’m only missing a few nice to haves but I wanted to ask here to make sure something funky isn’t going on. The not completed update says to record feedback but I know that option is already in the truck. Did the dealership flash me backwards and confuse the system? Anyone have the ability to look up my VIN and see what is going on in FRDS? Any help would be appreciated.

I’m new to this and got my truck a few weeks ago. I got an update 4.2.1.1.
Am I still really far behind updates?
One paragraph says simply go into your vehicles sync settings, I can’t find that in the menus in the truck.
