Ford Pass Update 5.0.0 -- Limited Public Beta Release [closed]

Looks like it supposed to show if car locked/unlocked, but for now Lock button is enabled, unlock is disabled, but both works.
After pressing the button it shows status, but immediately returns back when you don't know is car locked or unlocked.

Not sure why they have to block their own icon to show what is selected. there are other ways. This is not great looking but just saying:

I figure the communication through the system and to the trucks is too slow. All you truly need is a single icon. It should show the status of what the truck currently is - Locked or Unlocked. Touching it should do the opposite. That is if all worked well and were decently quick. However it isn't.

Knowing they still go with two icons - one for each, likely means we won't get good reliable status of what it is, but at least you can still issue a command to do whatever it is you would like to - Lock or Unlock.

I would, personally, like more details than the off color icon or "Vehicle Parked". It'd be nice if where it says vehicle parked it would say:
"Vehicle Secured" (all doors locked, tailgate closed and locked, frunk closed and locked, and all windows closed)
"Unlocked"
"Windows open"
"Tailgate Open"
"Frunk Open"
"Driver Door Ajar"
"Charge port door ajar" (without noticing a charge)
"Pro power running"
"Vehicle On"
"Preconditioning cabin" (Climate on, vehicle off)

My brother bought his lightning a week ago, signed up fresh for FordPass, and was offered the 5.0 beta as soon as he logged in...feels kinda shitty that I am in the EAP and still have not been offered 5.0 to try yet.

You're really not missing anything at all, 5.0.0 is just as bad if not worse than 4.x!

I think the problem with this today is that information is not pushed from the truck and instantly updated in the servers Tesla does. In other words, the problem is not the app. The app shows what Ford's servers know immediately. They would need to change how the truck pushes status, and what triggers pulling/refreshing the status. As we all know, Ford can't program their way out of a wet paper bag, so this is not likely to change anytime soon.

Pulling down on the main screen in the app to refresh the status would work.

Just got the new version and can't find the section that had the FCSP data. I forget exactly what it was called but it had "insights", "settings" and would tell you whether the unit was online. Anyone know where find it?

On the old app, you would navigate from [Account > Charge Station > Insights]
Look for Account in the new app, assuming they are supporting this functionality.

So apparently I'm still on 4.37.0.

I agree, it was a nice feature that hopefully will show up again. I'm going to test the new interface and then probably click the option to return to the old interface.
