My blue cruise has been speeding up about 20-30miles more than what I have it set at. Is this happening or happened to anyone else?

Not that I have experienced - do you have Speed Sign Recognition turned on or off? I disabled that a long time ago because it was too sensitive and not always accurate.

I believe it's off. The problem here is in the opposite direction. If I'm traveling at 65 it will jump to 85+ and I need to reset the cruise control or turn it off. Has been happening for the last couple months with the frequency starting to increase

You have sign recognition on AND you have the buffer set to 20mph over. Strongly advise you go through all your settings.

I'll review, thank you. I really hope that's what it is. It didn't use to happen until recently

Because it uses a database also...

Turn it off and the problem goes away.

My money is still on the thing suggested by Rick. That's the thing that most often causes the symptoms you describe. The only other thing is if you were not already on cruise control but had previously had it on at a higher speed than your current speed and you inadvertently hit the easy to accidentally (re)engage/resume blue cruise button on the wheel. The most likely here is speed sign recognition.

I’ve had some problems with the speed recognition misinterpreting Maryland route signs as speed limit signs.

Hey there. I'd like to look into your Blue Cruise issues on my end. Could you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage to get things started?
