Cant seem to find a good answer for Power. I have a dashcam that works when the truck is parked as security, I need to power it when the truck is parked and off. Are any of the USB, Cigarette type connectors inside always power on?

not that I'm aware of... but you could always attach your power leads directly to the 12v battery.

For what you're looking to do, I would suggest a Fuse Tap and running the wire to the passenger foot panel fuse box. Then just look up which fuse's power supports the functionality you are looking for.

FYI - I use fuse 2 for ACC and fuse 4 for constant 12V power, each with Buissman Tap-a-Fuse taps. I have one of the simpler Thinkware dash cams with parking mode and voltage monitoring built-in.

I found it really easy to run a dedicated Thinkware hard-wire cable set from the rear mirror housing trim across the headliner and down the right A Pillar just inside the very wide door seal rubber channel to the cabin fuse panel.

Also, the rear mirror plastic trim has what appears to be a precut wire channel on its bottom driver's side. I use that channel as a good exit path for my Thinkware cable.

Easy - peasy... good luck with Your project!
