Chevrolet announces 2025 Silverado EV range and price

Just curious, did you realize the Silverado EV is a unibody platform? Not a real truck!

It's kind of in between. It has pretty beefy subframes front and rear connected to a unibody. So it's not a full unibody but it's not body on frame either. I would trust it more than the Cybertruck.

The Silverado doesn't offer Apple Carplay or Android Auto - just a basic bluetooth connection for audio streaming.

Some lower trims still offer CarPlay and Android Auto, at least for 2024. A friend here bought a 4WT and it has CarPlay. It's the higher trims that use an Android Automotive OS that doesn't support CarPlay or Android Auto. (It's possible to have CarPlay and AA on top of Android Automotive... Polestar does it. It's a choice by GM to lock you into a subscription, I think.)

That is a HUGE upgrade for going with a lower trim.
