Today my wipers stopped responding normally. I have the rain sensing option on, and wipers suddenly stopped wiping during a light snow/rain event. I manually moved through the wiper positions and wipers only work on high. The washer spray is also inoperative. I disabled the rain sensing option and no change in functionality. I searched and read the other threads but did not see any resolutions to those threads. TIA.

What YEAR is your Lightning?

Some early 22's required the inspection and potential replacement of the drive motor, not sure if this would be an issue on your truck.

Assuming you do not have the recall/CSP listed for potential failed wiper motor, it still could have failed, take it in and get it repaired under your 3/36 warranty

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Probably just broken, but are you certain there is fluid in the reservoir?

That sounds pretty similar to what I experienced.
However, my issue was intermittent at first. Then the wipers stopped working altogether for about two months, then started working again and have never stopped working since then.
Every time I made an appointment, they would start working before the appointment to bring the truck in.

Today my wipers started working normally again. No rhyme or reason.

I hope they continue working, but don’t be surprised if they stop again. And start again. And stop again, etc.
If you ever get to the root cause, please share.
Thanks, you’re the only other person I’ve found with this issue.

My wipers are annoyingly noisy - not the motor, the rubber on the glass.

Probably going to be replaced by me soon...it has been dry as a bone here (n.Va) but "winter is coming!"

I assume it is because this 2023 Lightning Pro sat in a lot in the sun for quite some time before I bought it in Jan 2024, and the rubber deteriorated.

I put on new Bosch ICON blades a few weeks ago, smooth as butter now.

My 23 Lariat ER is in for the front sensor CSP, and I asked them to look at the wipers. When the rains came this fall I was hoping to experience the Rain Sensing; but it didn’t sense. Just plain ol’ intermittent.
They have replaced the sensor, then the switch, and now the motor. Haven’t heard back whether that fixed the issue.
I’ll post once they have resolution.
