My build is more or less complete now. There are a few things I may end up doing still, but I have gotten it fixed up to where I wanted it to be.

What I started with:
2023 Oxford White Pro Extended Range with no options other than the ER battery. I got the Pro because it had the base of what I wanted, was locally available, and had a killer deal on it. I needed it to be an ER because of the amount of driving I do, at least 120 miles/day. I really like the vinyl interior, I live on a farm and usually have to coat the entire interior in some form of protection - rubber mats / seat covers anyway so vinyl was actually a bonus for me. I was worried about 2 things when I got it - losing Hands Free Blue Cruise that I had on my MME and some of the tech features like 360 cameras and PAAK. So far I haven’t really missed the PAAK, but would have loved tow tech package/max tow.

How expensive/difficult was it to do the console work surface?

Looks great! Why did you choose Oxford White? Why not Avalanche or Star White?
I'm looking at colors for my next truck.

Now that is a nice looking truck, and those improvements are impressive. I'm planning to add Adaptive Cruise Control and make a few ForScan tweaks when time and finances permit; your list is inspiring.

@JB, I got a white truck too because: (1) I could find a deal on a white one, while an admittedly better looking Avalanche truck would have cost me thousands more, and (2) the non-metallic paint can easily be repaired when (not if) something happens to it, unlike metallic colors that are much harder to patch and usually require entire panels to be repainted.

It was pretty easy, a couple trim pieces to pop off and a few 10mm screws was all there was to it. Total time was about 15 minutes. The work surface I bought off of eBay was about $550, hopefully I can sell my standard console lid to recoup a bit.

I bought an unsold fleet vehicle, which is the only way I was getting a pro with ER battery. It was a leftover 2023 that was still new so it had a great deal on it. I probably would have gone with a different color if I specified it myself, but I’m super happy with how it turned out and I really appreciate the white. I love how easy it is to keep clean and it really doesn’t show much dirt.

I love the other whites too, hard to go wrong with this truck because all colors look great.

Haha yes, the cost was the biggest factor for me. Adding up all the changes I made plus the cost of the vehicle I would have had to pay at least $15k more than I spent for an equivalently spec’d vehicle. I think white is one of the easier colors to resell also which is great.

I also have a white Pro, but SR, that I really like. The one upgrade I wish had is a front camera. I am surprised that isn't on your list. Did you investigate that upgrade?
SR is perfect for most use cases, I just put in a lot of miles each day and my Mach-E with ER was as low range as I could go during the winter and that had about 270 mile range.

There are still a few things I’d like to add. I’d love to have a front camera, but I ended up buying the emblem without the camera hole. Plus, I wasn’t completely sure if enabling the front cam was even an option I could activate through FORScan without turning on the whole 360 cameras. I’ve also read that installing the full 360-degree camera setup is a big project and could cost around $2,000, which made me hesitate. Maybe someday, though!

Ah, yeah, I think it was the cost that put me off. For something that I would only use here and there I didn't think the expense was worth it. If it was like 100-200 bucks yeah, but $500+ I can't really justify. Good to know that it was easy though, last time I had looked into it it looked like a giant pain to actually do.

So what I did was buy a whole center console off ebay, spent a long time looking for a good deal. Found one with some missing panels so it was cheaper. But i just swapped the armrests and sold it back on ebay. Broke even in the end, which means I got the upgraded armrest for basically free. But it was a bit of work reselling.

That’s my plan as well, but the original console lid didn’t sell yet, so still waiting to recoup that money! I probably won’t make it all back, but I’m ok with that.
