I’m having two issues :
1- CCM will not show up despite changing values at IPMA 706-02-02 to from 04 to 05

I’m Getting 2 DTC ( related to IPMA).

Connection to IPMA has been done with correct polarity…

2- One of the changes in forescan I can’t find the correct value in livnitups library… the value is located at the IPMA 706-02-01 according to literature it says I need to only change the first value but the library only shows solutions for 2 values

3 - Also not sure what would be correct value I need to change at IPMA 706-16-01 4th digit in first block

2nd picture shows connection at CCM module

I have a 2024 XLT with 360 camera

This is one of those situations where pictures are worth a million words. You're using the WAGO connector wrong. Each WAGO connector is fully connected across all ports; so you have essentially shorted all 8 wires together. Just run down to home depot and purchase a bag of 2 port WAGO connectors. Only ever put one wire in each port on a connector, that's how they are meant to be used, but that's ultimately not the issue here. You need four 2 port connectors to do this correctly. Twist each stranded wire before inserting in to the connector ports.

No finding it means it's probably not powered or hooked up correctly. You need to measure 12v at the bumper connector to verify it's on the correct pins. Use the wiring diagram and info in previous threads, several people have had this problem.
Thanks for responding I will verify everything again this weekend to ensure everything is G2G

Thanks for responding. I updated to 2 port WAGO’s but I still get the same DTC related to “ fordward sensing module” “circuit short to ground or open”

any ideas on what else I can do ?

Pull the actual plug off the CCM turn on the ignition and check 12V at the actual connector by probing the female sockets with a probe or 22AWG wire. Look back where others have done this and for pictures to know the actual sockets to probe. You need a diagram that shows you the PIN numbering while looking into the female socket. Take a picture showing us you have 12V in the correct spot.

finally !!! CCM showed up!! Issue was I had 4 port wagos at IPMA 🤦🏽‍♂️now I’m getting 2 DTCs one relating to CCM calibration, which I know I have to calibrate using forescan… now the other DTC is related to the IPMA configuration, there’s 2 values I can’t figure out for 2024 XLT as the DTC for IPMA says configuration incompatible…

Will head over to the forescan thread, Thanks!!

Success, just managed to get Adaptive cruise control on 2024 XLT, thanks to everyone's help. Pretty much all values were same as brotato stated at the beginning of this thread with exception of 1 value located at (IPMA) 706-02-01 ( the first digit needs to be a #6) mine had a 2l, this single digit fixed all the error codes. At this point I've had already done the CCM calibration but still had issues.

There's another thread posted by Hturnerfamily, with a PDF file on instructions as well, i used it a lot

Recommendations to new people trying this mod

** all parts are listed in page 26 by Azgunguy, these parts will include the already crimped terminals

1) Read the whole thread, yes all 35 pages, there's info in all of them specially the last 10 that will give you the solutions

2)If you'll do a direct connection from CCM to IPMA do not crimp the connectors your self, buy the terminals already crimped, that way is plug and play, i purchased a separate IPMA connector like someone stated and i damaged many of the ports practicing, which is a huge waste of time

3) The rubber cover at the firewall, very hard to poke and dangerous ( due to cables behind it), i recommend just pushing it outside use a Fish tape to get cable inside then pull rubber inside again.

4) Save as built data in forescan !! before changing values and take pictures

Next steps add Comma ai to ford lightning and add cruise control distance buttons

Thanks for contributing and putting the real all 35 pages first. If everyone did that, they would probably succeed without having to ask any questions.

I've been eyeballing Comma AI since long before I even had this truck. I get this forum and the Gen14 forum mixed up sometimes, but I have seen some people doing it but no real DIY comprehensive thread like this specifically for the XLT Lightning (Sync 4a). Is there one that I'm missing? If not let's start one, I'm ready to do it. But I think 2 or more of us should do it at the same time and draft the DIY and all edit and refine it before posting once. Maybe we can eliminate a lot of headaches that have been caused here by the many variants of ways/opinions to do things.

In case you missed it, there is a thread on this forum and it touches specifically on the issues when using Comma with a Lightning. Specifically, unless Comma has fixed their Q4 harness, it looks like we'd need to make an extension for it [video]. I'd love to add Comma myself but I haven't even found the time to add ACC so it's a ways off for me.

If you need more incentive, it's on sale.
