Is this the beta program version? I got an email a week ago asking if I wanted to join the FordPass beta program and I did. I got a similar email a year ago (Sept 2023) and joined back then too, so not sure what they are doing. I still only have 5.7 available to me though in the Play store.
EDIT: Just checked this afternoon and 5.80 is now available to update. Google must have rolled it out in phases. Based on the responses, this is not a beta exclusive version.

I was coming back to this thread to ask the same question, so far 5.8.0 has not reached my mobile service distro server, I was wondering if the couple of folks who got it are testers ??

I was able to update mine to 5.8.0 last night and I'm not in any betas. I didn't explore thoroughly but it did have the new trailer light button from the other thread.

5.8.2 is current FordPass TestFlite version - got it Monday 11/18/24. Unfortunately their "take a screenshot to post a bug/comment feature" only works occasionally, so kinda hard to tell Ford what you find

It's slow.
I fails to connect to the truck, show my messages, or allow departure time entries, or show charge history.
It used to work just fine...now, I just try to get it to work at all.
I did the usuals: clear app cache, restarts, check phone settings, etc.

Not a beta tester and I got 5.8.2 yesterday on iOS.
We're only talking ANDROID in this thread, I'm copying your post to the IOS thread Ford DEV timeline is diverged severly on the platform models for this level of release.Not a beta tester and I got 5.8.2 yesterday on iOS.
