A2Z builds very high quality adapters, have great customer service. I have both the Ford-provided and an A2Z adapter for DCFC and A2Z is better than the brand-T provided by Ford..

Just used the one I purchased from Amazon for the first time yesterday on a Supercharger at the Tejon Outlets, and it worked fine. Didn't get very warm either.

So far so good, hope it lasts.

Costs a little more but the quality is above all the rest.
And is from the US instead of China.

Over twice as much $ as the A2Z on the recent sale. And it's still made in China. (They say final assembly is in the US-That could be as little as labeling and boxing)

Sounds like you have some inside access with them. Regardless, they need to lower their prices to be competitive.

I would think the wires would immediately melt on the version in the right picture. I see some positive feedback after actual use on some of these economy adapters being sold on Amazon.

No... I went to their shop in Goleta California and saw the machines making parts for it.

Apparently, they only changed the locking mechanisms on them to make the latch and secondary lock more solid, which they manufacture. The product itself is imported from China and has same internals as the old A2Z gen. I spoke with them over the phone and this is what I recall from the conversation.
That being said, the first generation of the A2Z adapter had no issues, with the improvements Teslatap made, it should be better as A2Z struggled with that flimsy slider lock.

I am just stating the facts. I was able to pick mine up at their location in CA and they showed me the machine shop and the differences in the products.

Of your 18 posts on this forum every one is related to charging and most of them are shilling for Tesla tap. Maybe you should upgrade to a vendor account to push a product.
