My suggestions Mr Ford

Move the frunk and tailgate switch to the outside, where the side floodlight switches are.
also upgrade the switches the indicators are worn off of mine.

Also my start stop button is worn off.

A way to disable the drivers door has to be closed, very an when jogging the truck to get trailer ball lined up

My suggestion would be have a 360 camera recording so I don't have to buy after-market equipment and mess with it. I don't understand why this isn't a permanent feature on a $90K truck since there are built in cameras already.

Having a shifter stick seems silly to me. You can fold it out of the way, but only when you’re parked. Considering it shifts itself in the park, there’s gotta be some mechanical stuff happening in there… A simple knob would’ve been much cheaper to manufacture, less likely to fail and not in our way. I honestly don’t know what the thought was besides trying to satisfy people that like putting their hands on a shifter

Agree 100% and why would you go to all that hassle to make and link that whole huge thing, and eat up all that space. Gove me a damn knob or button on the dash and be done. $4.00.

Here’s a suggestion: Do what you say you’re going to do when you say you’re going to do it!

I totally respect your point of view on this issue.

I also really like putting my hand on the traditional shifter -- and hate the knob on my wife's Mach-E, which I find completely counterintuitive and clumsy. We each have our own preferences.

What's confusing to me is that a truck whose interior style is mostly traditional rather than modern doesn't have an old-school stalk shifter on the right side of the steering column, even though it does have wiper controls on the left stalk...just like those of a 25 year (or more) old Ford pickup. Also, what's with the steering wheel? Why not reins?

That would’ve been a much better design choice in my opinion too. At least would be harder to accidentally spill a cup of coffee down it and likely ruin it. I wonder how much that folddown feature cost and curious if there’s anybody here that actually finds it useful
