Does anyone have access to a BCM connector pinout diagram please?

I was able to locate this one online. Can someone verify if this is correct pin description for connector C2280C, for a Lightning?

I'm trying to make connections for LOCK and UNLOCK at pins 32 and 35 and want to make sure I have it right.

thanks much

I figured it out. The top diagram is the correct pin out. The bottom one is wrong.

Pin 32 is all unlocked
Pin 35 is all locked

When pin numbers are mirrored like that it is because one view is from the male side and the other view is from the female side. If you were to unplug the connector and flip it over toward you, you would get the bottom view.

It's usually small letters but pin 1 should be identified on the connector somewhere to orient you.

If I wanted to add switches with an illumination wire to be connected to the trucks ambient lighting, which pin should it be connected to?

You should search upfitter installation. I realize Ford can change wire colors but on my old truck it was gray/violet violet-gray. That matches pin 13 22 above. Also this thread

Also @JHForman812 might know. He helped many of us with the lighted cupholder mod and one of his harnesses ties into illumination IIRC. The other tied into the LIN bus I think which is not what you want.

That's actually the mod I'm attempting to do! Currently just a little confused/stuck on where to route the wire from the upfitter harness that is labeled "+12v illumination Circuit." I assumed by doing so the upfitter switch lights dim and lighten with the other buttons/indicators.

the lights on the upfitter switches need to tie into the same circuit as your window/lock switches. they have nothing to do with ambient lighting. Let me look through the workshop manual. ill get back to you in a few.

BCM C2280B terminal 45 is the backlighting feature for the overhead console. these are from the bcm of an ICE truck, 45 will already be poplulated cause theres a lot of stuff on that circuit. use a tap or something to tie it in. hope this helps

I edited my post. On my 2010, I picked up illumination from the hazard switch connector. It was violet-gray. Based on John's schematics, they still use that wire color for illumination. My pin 22 reference was bad. I would go with John's advice and tap with a fuse at the BCM.
