Your Pro shows this?Ford is doing public service having me sing in a confined space.
Kind of along the same lines I figured if I pull up to a supercharger and they are all full I’ll just start singing and clear everybody out!Just got mine. Ford is doing public service having me sing in a confined space.
Yup, I am guessing it was installed sometime within past 48 hrs. I just saw the update and never checked out the app.Your Pro shows this?
Nothing on mine.
I think the Karaoke may only apply to the 15" screens,... I got the update, but no Karaoke and no improvement to the Ford Nav showing Tesla chargers.I just saw the update and never checked out the app.
I just checked and you are correct. There is no app. Ford is not only protecting the public, they are protecting my family too.I think the Karaoke may only apply to the 15" screens,... I got the update, but no Karaoke and no improvement to the Ford Nav showing Tesla chargers.
UPDATE: I reread the release notes: Ford Premium Connectivity is required for the new Karaoke app. That is why I don't have it.
Samesies, just on my way in this morningMee...meee....meeeeeeeee
Jealous. Still waiting.Mee...meee....meeeeeeeee
Thats....good news...I guess...The 10.1.0 update completed with no issues, I tested the Google Maps routing confirming the end of journey SOC is showing, and it was accurate for the short trip I planned to EA to do some testing regarding Plug & Charge.
It initially projected that I would arrive with 66% SOC, when I arrived, it was indeed 66%, note this was relatively short trip, local undivided roads, on route 1 and 1A from home to Wrentham, the battery pack power output was limited to 95% to the motors, the battery temp gauge was a hair under middle point, when I arrived it still showed 95% limit and gauge was the same, the trip was only about 9 miles and took about 20 minutes.
I tested EA to see if the plug & charge would continue to work even though my settings show it turned off, I recall switching it off a while ago, I might have switched it off while operating FP 5.9.0. As of now I can not switch the P&C ON, I was happy to see that regardless of switch setting, EA recognized my truck after plugging in, I purposely did not use the EA APP, I let the charge run from 66% to 70%, it was slow due to higher SOC, when I finished the short test session, the HVB temp and motor power were back to normal & 100%.
I traveled to Tesla in Foxborough Ma, another 10 minute trip down I-495, I-95 & R-140, parked at terminal 1A, when I pulled in only one other CCS vehicle was there, by the time I left, a Rivian, and two tesla's had pulled in, I used the magic dock handle, plugged in, charge ring turned blue and after about 15 seconds I heard the station ramp-up the charging ring started flashing blue, a good sign, I did not need to use the Ford Public Charging app to authorize the terminal either. I was at 66% again after the drive from Wrentham, so I let it continue until 71%, I then used the unlock button on the charge ring next to the CCS port, Tesla ramped down, interlock disengaged and I returned the magic dock to its holder.
It's a relief that the P&C system is still working regardless of switch setting, obviously I could always use the app and would as a rule to capture the stats and get preferential rates for long road trips.
After the charging tour, I got home, pulled into the garage, truck automatically connected to my home network, I briefly played with karaoke, no singing involved.....
Yes, especially for those trying to get the preferential rates, this always on condition is a problem for them.Kidding aside, I can see how since you cannot enable PnC that having it would would be appreciated. However it's a bit concerning that having it OFF does not actually turn it off.
