Clear out the trip details and start from scratch, possibly the GPS "My Location" is not tracking accurately
I tried modifying and re-planning the trip several times, to avail.

I just tried deleting the whole thing and starting over. Now I am getting reasonable results.

Appreciate everyone’s assistance!

I just noticed this little anomaly on the map. Remember my first issue where ABRP flipped out after my second charge on the way there, stopped routing, and wanted to start over?

That arrow is where the charger is. It is NOT on my stops and I started completely over.

EDIT: I think I figured it out. So I’ll post my theory in case it helps anyone else in the future.

On my way there, when the app freaked out and stopped routing, I just killed it and switched to Apple. So the last place the app thinks it saw my truck was at that phantom spot by the Tesla charger that I circled in yellow.

I think when I started the app tonight, it assumed my truck was still in that spot, despite my choosing GPS as my starting location. In fact, the first pic of ABRP, if you zoom in, you can see exactly that. The starting point is not my physical location, but on top of that phantom arrow.

A bug?

When I killed the whole thing and started over, it starting picking up my location correctly, but still shows my truck at that Tesla charger, but seems to be correctly ignoring it now.

I am betting that tomorrow when I leave, if I connect ABRP, it will update the trucks location and move the position arrow to its correct place.

I love ABRP, and this is by far the worst issue I have seen, but I have had a few bugs myself.

The biggest was on a vacation to Mackinaw City. When departing it DEMANDED I drive to the local charger and go to 100%, and even though i started at 96% over the next hour and a half it was routing me back to where I started in order to charge to 100% (even with chargers along my route, and closer).

I love ABRP, but its far from perfect. Best of luck.

Oh, and I never had such an issue again. Still use ABRP, still the best charger planner, still an inferior navigation tool...

Why are you charging at a Ford dealer?

When you set ABRP to 100% and My Position, then try and restart partway on the trip, you often have to redo the start point. I don't use the paid version.

One charge at Tesla in Marmet gets you home much faster.

He would need a deep charge to make it. Looks like home is over 300 miles from OPs starting location which would still leave over 200 from the supercharger. It could be done with 1 stop assuming there's a charger 150-175 miles away and efficiency isnt completely in the toilet but 2 is probably the better option.

It is 207 miles away, and the Tesla Supercharger is just over half way.

This was my thinking and why I chose 2. That coupled with first EV and first road trip with it. Trying to keep the “learning opportunities” to a minimum. 😁

FYI, that Ford dealer is a great place to stop. The charger is a little slower at 120kw, but fast enough. The dealership itself is spotless, all the staff is super pleasant, and the bathrooms are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

yeah, it's all about your tolerance and comfort level. Being new, I wouldn't test extremely low SOC right out of the gate. Not sure of your efficiency but considering most aren't driving out of spec style and rolling in at 0%, 10-100% gets you 250 miles @1.8mi/kWh and a little over 200 @1.6mi/kWh on the initial charge. Since anything over 80% is abysmally slow, that leaves you only 70% of the battery if going to 10% for subsequent stops (160 [email protected], [email protected]). Obviously a head wind and gains in elevation would reduce those.
