The ICE values won't always work for the Lightning. Well it works for side view but may disable Lightning specific features depending on year and trim. I wrote about it here.Correct. The way it is coded in the IPMA, there is no way circumvent the trailer requirement. The changes are in the common tab of the FORScan spreadsheet, but the IPMA has to be at a certain level for it to work.

If you make the changes and it does not work, then the IPMA needs to be updated. Nothing bad would come out of trying.....you would just get a button for it in your touch screen that you won't be able to turn on.
I have the recipe on the new FORScan thread but here it is again:
Trailer Side View - 2022/2023 only. 2024+ have this already. Shows corresponding camera view alongside of vehicle when turn signal is applied with trailer connected. See here for details. Note: requires newest 12/23 IPMA update.
IPMA 706-01-02 *xxx xxxx xx-- if 0 change to 3, if 7 then no change (2024's)
APIM 7D0-02-03 xxxx x*xx xx-- if 0 change to 8, if 4 change to C, adds Trailer Side View toggle under Driver Assistance
The main thing is that 2024's already have this so don't change it back. And if you put a "8" for the APIM you lose Drive Modes on the 15" screen. They need a "C".
