This was last weekend… keeping beers cold while doing yard work.

I moved the heaviest chest ever last weekend. I would've take a picture, but I was too busy complaining about my back.

The chest got stuck on the cable on the left side of the tailgate and now has some dents in it. Is this a concern? I'm guessing it's just the outer casing and that cable is either broken or not?

Seems unlikely you would have damaged the metal cable. Maybe look for frayed strands and use a bit of paint or nail polish to help prevent corrosion or just keep an eye on it.

Tall and wide handmade entertainment center. Rested on wheel wells and tailgate. Was also prepared to lay it flat with support at wheel well level, but tailgate up just seemed more secure and simpler. Either would have been fine I'm sure, but efficiency was lower in this configuration.

I moved my daughter home from college for the summer. I love having the large area by the rear seats.

I will be moving my daughter this weekend, the space with the rear seats up will help for sure. She has a 55 inch TV that will fit securely in that space.

Transporting two 2x8x16 boards and other shorter boards. I've done this many times but more nervous with the Lightning since I can't (won't) prop the boards on the screen. In my old truck I could rest them on the dash.
I couldn't figure out how to remove the center headrest so ended up lowering the seat. Later did find out how to remove that headrest. I thought someone made a support rack for inside the truck that protected the rear glass better but couldn't find that online. And yes added a red flag after the pic.

You can't see it, but there is a 55 inch TV standing upright in that space. It fit perfectly.

Been using the truck like a truck a lot since we got it 3 weeks ago. Here are the only two pictures I took so far.

QUESTION PLEASE:

Today, I hauled a half ton of bark mulch for our garden. However, when hosing out the bed, noticed that the tailgate (has the step) gets PACKED full of debris. Anyone found the best way to clean the tailgate other than lots and lots of water???

Still hauling stuff all the time. More than I thought I would, actually. But most of it is just boring furniture, scrap metal, and what not that isn't particularly challenging due to size or weight. Still here is a pair of front load laundry appliances. 30" wide and 28" deep, so we rotated one and they fit just fine.
