My wife just left with the 2020 Explorer. Location showed the car one block from the house. I waited about 30 seconds and it showed car about quarter mile away.
Apple has taught me to avoid updates.
I live in an urban area with strong cellular service. I can almost track the movement of our Lightning and our Explorer as they move through the neighborhood. Basically refreshing by switching out and back into location in FordPass.

I made a 500 mile round trip on PA Turnpike to Hershey this week. I charged at EA in Bedford twice (53% to 82% and 22% to 61%, both 56Ā¢/ kWh) and Tesla (36% to 80%, 45Ā¢/kWh) in Mechanicsburg once.
All three averaged 2 kWh/minute. EA peeked at 174 kW and Tesla...

In western PA 131*0.215 =$28.16. The 21.5Ā¢/kWh is roughly half generation and half distribution.
Duquesne Light offers a program with reduced rates at night but then jacks up rates during the day. Net result is nada or worst.
So I plug in anytime I need to.
Not that the hills of Pennsylvania are anything like the mountains out west but ABRP was dead on accurate for my trips. I differed by 2% SOC on a recent 400 mile round trip with two motel stays, three rounds of golf and one DC charge at a Shell station.
Just because a receptacle is live (voltage applied to it), that does not mean current (amperage) is flowing through it. In fact, unless damaged, no current therefore no power (watts). If you are seeing a power draw, something is wrong and should be examined.
