  1. Location Delay

FordPass 5.5.0 My wife just left with the 2020 Explorer. Location showed the car one block from the house. I waited about 30 seconds and it showed car about quarter mile away. Apple has taught me to avoid updates.
  2. Location Delay

I get an OTA about once per year whether I need it or not. I ignore them and the lack of connectivity of my fcsp. Accept the good and ignore the rest.
  3. Location Delay

I live in an urban area with strong cellular service. I can almost track the movement of our Lightning and our Explorer as they move through the neighborhood. Basically refreshing by switching out and back into location in FordPass.
  4. Supercharger Avg Power

Just some data for your enjoyment. I made a 500 mile round trip on PA Turnpike to Hershey this week. I charged at EA in Bedford twice (53% to 82% and 22% to 61%, both 56Ā¢/ kWh) and Tesla (36% to 80%, 45Ā¢/kWh) in Mechanicsburg once. All three averaged 2 kWh/minute. EA peeked at 174 kW and Tesla...
  5. How do I fold down drivers side rear seat ?

Lift bottom seat up and reach down with 12mm box wrench. Pull lever up.
  6. Is mine the only state that punishes folks for buying an EV?

The numbers for me in Pennsylvania are interesting. Iā€™ve always had a pickup truck and use it about 6000 miles per year. My previous 2015 F150 Lariat Ecoboost average 16.5 mpg over its 7 year stint with me. I reset Trip Odometer 1 the day I drove it home new from the dealer. In PA, the tax...
  7. Bluecruise 1.3 OTA

22 Lariat here. No OTA updates announced since last November. But my philosophy has always been if it ainā€™t broke, donā€™t fix it.
  8. NACS adapter modifications

I wonder if this will ever reach market. Itā€™s been ā€œcoming soonā€ for a while now
  9. Cost to fill up your Lightning?

In western PA 131*0.215 =$28.16. The 21.5Ā¢/kWh is roughly half generation and half distribution. Duquesne Light offers a program with reduced rates at night but then jacks up rates during the day. Net result is nada or worst. So I plug in anytime I need to.
  10. Predicted travel before charging

Not that the hills of Pennsylvania are anything like the mountains out west but ABRP was dead on accurate for my trips. I differed by 2% SOC on a recent 400 mile round trip with two motel stays, three rounds of golf and one DC charge at a Shell station.
  11. Lightning Commuter: 1 year and 26K on the 2023

OGā€™s rule. Or whatever kids say today.
  12. LVB on Ford Website?

Learn the metric system. The pressure is in pascals. šŸ˜Š Not really but who knows.
  13. List the features needed to make the Ford Nav something you WANT to use

I like it whatever way it is now. I use Apple CarPlay, Apple Maps and ABRP instead of truck nav.
  14. Anyone know what the idle draws on the circuits are?

Just because a receptacle is live (voltage applied to it), that does not mean current (amperage) is flowing through it. In fact, unless damaged, no current therefore no power (watts). If you are seeing a power draw, something is wrong and should be examined.
  15. Ford Offers You Extra Power For $995 (For MachE GT)

I probably know more about Smokey Burgess and Vinegar Bend Mizell than I do about 75% of the players on the team this year.
  16. Ford Offers You Extra Power For $995 (For MachE GT)

I was with you 100% until you said that you pay good money to watch the Pirates. šŸ˜³
  17. They broke the casting… Cybertruck vs. F-150 durability test by WhistlinDiesel

I was looking for Daisy. No luck. No cheeks.
  18. Ford Offers You Extra Power For $995 (For MachE GT)

Every design has safety factor engineered in to guarantee performance as specified. Anyone can eat into that safety factor for a little more performance at the expense of potential mechanical failure. Some customers want to gain that extra performance but still hold the manufacture liable for...
