Yep got the same email. Just a 2 week delay, not too bad Ford
Oh I was talking about the delay from when it was first reported as an issue, to when they contacted me a customer who is affected by the issue. This is the first update I have received from Ford about this battery issue and me being affected.They said a few weeks. That could be 3 weeks. I wish they were more specific. At least they reached out to us (a month AFTER the fire lol). I think they're supposed to update us by the end of this week. Hopefully tomorrow, they will announce that the fire was an isolated incident with that one unit and that shipping will continue immediately.

I wouldn't be parking that truck in the garage if I were you. You might want to reach out to your dealer to have your truck inspected or just to make sure your truck is not affected.What is hilarious to me is that I also got this email... even though I've had my truck for 2 weeks already! Whoever/whichever team is in charge of customer communication at Ford really needs to... improve.
