I have no clue, still nothing updating for me.

I did find a way to still keep my massage seats, heated steering wheel etc though.

The $30k I saved will pay for a lot of diesel at 30 MPG.

I do hope you all get your Lightnings in a timely fashion and enjoy them.

I did not know that part. Will have to read up. That makes me more likely to go ahead and invest in it sooner.

Also, there are a couple of optional add-ons that you can select. One covers all of the lights and the other covers the key fobs. I added lights after watching a video of a wrecked Lightning. One headlight assembly is about $1700. The key fobs are expensive but with a @100 deductible it’s not a huge risk to leave that one off. Just be sure to let them know you want them before they do the paperwork.

Yes, it was Granger. I used the link they posted to look at the example costs and chose the time and mileage I wanted. I sent the request to Granger and they responded with brochures and the attached. Since it’s Ford they make it confusing so that some things are included if checked and others are excluded (kind of like the heated steering wheels) so read it carefully. The brochures describe what each option includes/excludes. I had them uncheck the lighting delete and left the others. If you want the key protection then have them uncheck that one as well.

Right, I'm only tracking MY2022, this was mixed production week a few days of 2022 and the rest onward are 2023's

William @Wsl346 has been doing tracking of MY2023, when he has time more reports may be coming for this and later weeks.

Keep in mind the work needed to read all activity in multiple threads hour by hour, every day and summarizing on the week. It's a lot of time, FORD's latest changes to the SHOP tracker have made the process more difficult for us to do crowd analysis once they implemented the captcha screener.

I'm still plucking through the early phase of MY2023 but only those records where a COMPLETE VIN has been shared, this reduces the amount of time I spend gleaning conversation threads for nuggets of data against the noise of anxiety anticipation and angst......

My truck arrived at the dealer (Kearny Mesa Ford) today.

I knew because Ford sent me an email asking me to finalize my purchase. I called the dealer and they seemed surprised I knew about the delivery. They also discouraged me from using the Ford website to pay for the truck.

Dealer wouldn't let me pick it up until tomorrow at the earliest.

Dealer also mentioned not being able to deliver if there was any transit damage.

Fingers crossed I can pick it up tomorrow and the saga is over.

Picked up the truck this afternoon.

My MY2023 did not come with a mobile connector/charger despite the online checkout saying it was included. Dealer cited the fact current MY2023s don't include it as a reason they wouldn't provide it.

While the dealer included the private offer with no issue, I did pay California sales tax on the gross purchase price pre-private offer. Basically another $700.

I'll touch base with Ford Corporate to see what they say about the mobile charger.

All that said, the truck is awesome.

Edit: lastly, the dealer wouldn't play ball with the Granger Warranty. They even said I wouldn't be able to buy coverage after the sale. Yet here I am having just sent payment to Granger for the exact coverage I wanted at a price that is >$500 cheaper.

The extended battery does not come with the mobile charger. Bought the one that was recommended in this forum.

Please check your window sticker, see if it charged you $500 for a mobile charger. If you were charged, then you are owed a mobile charger.
