IDK, but the fact that mine is in the Chicago area makes me wish they would just stick it on a truck, only 7 hour drive, could be here tomorrow!Do they always leave by rail or are some 100% truck?

I'm still going down the rabbit how on this whole rail shipping process. I do see there is a large rail yard near Riverside, IL where both UP and BNSF have intermodal (Where the shipment goes from one form of transport to another) facilities. It's hard to say if you would continue by rail to Omaha or if they load you up on a truck at that point. It's too bad you don't have a railcar ID as that makes it really easy to see exactly what is happening. You may want to try your dealer as well as I've seen that sometime ford chat won't give the railcar ID.So I talked to Ford Chat this morning. No rail or convoy info available but its in Riverside IL. So is that a staging location for Trucks going west/south?
the reply i got was one wasn't assigned currently. Thats what makes me think my date is later than others, they are waiting for a truck to fill.I'm still going down the rabbit how on this whole rail shipping process. Some are 100% truck, if it says convoy on your window sticker. Otherwise it is rail And the truck from rail yard to dealerDo they always leave by rail or are some 100% truck?
Mine shows convoy as well, to Oklahoma. I think maybe they leave this plant on truck then transfer to rail and back to truck. I have ordered many vehicles from Ford and they always travel by rail to me.Mine says "Convoy" on the sticker. That seems odd going all the way to Nevada. Taking the scenic route, I guess.
So I have seen folks posting photos of their truck coming off the line. How did y'all receive that? I checked through my emails, and don't see anything like that.
I think those come a few weeks after completion. For some reason 11 days sticks in my memory so there must have been some that were getting them in that time frame. So I have seen folks posting photos of their truck coming off the line. Did you do anything special to get the FCSP early? I've only heard of Canadians getting the charger before the truck. My status up to shipped, no date, no ETA yet.
Received Charging Pro today.
How do you know that it is still on chip hold? I was told mine was on chip hold by CS as well, but I thought they were mistaken since it was "built". Thanks in advance!May only be me impacted but despite receiving a "built" status and email from Ford 4 days ago, my vehicle is still apparently on chip hold. CS on chat just points to the dealer to obtain updates.
Nope, Fedex just knocked on the door.Did you do anything special to get the FCSP early? I've only heard of Canadians getting the charger before the truck.
