Hey guys, long time lurker. I just created an account because I’m frustrated. Ford chat told me a couple weeks ago I had a chip hold, dealer denies it, more recent ford chats have denied it, but no one can’t explain why later builds have been delivered and I’ve been in production for over a month. My dealer also claims I’m their only allocated truck and that they will not have a demo truck available to test drive, because, well, I’m their only allocated truck, apparently.

Just talked to Ford, Today's they said its on a "Plant hold" no other information and I should keep in contact with my dealer as they sometimes have more information.

It’s funny, my dealer couldn’t even tell me anything other than it’s in production and that Ford is vague with the customers and the dealers, that Ford would inform them if there was a hold, that Ford would email me if there was a hold, and that he hopes the Ford chat agent lied to me about the chip hold. Doesn’t sound too promising. No one knows what’s going on.

@Sig62 , what date does the order tracker (https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking) show for your build date? I see in your signature that your blend was 5/21 and build date was 5/23, which seems really close together compare to mine. My blend was 5/18, and my build date (per the order tracker) was 5/30:

Tracker just shows "In Production" Dealer view sheet showed the build date as the 23rd, took the blend day from the window sticker.

I have been in transit and my dealer confirmed the truck was at the local rail yard yesterday. Last night the tracker went back to in production.

Yes, trucks that are caught up in pre-mature release and are heading back to the factory for proper completion of the build approval have done this, I hope your not one of those trucks!
