Finally able to add my VIN to the FordPass app, I get this now when I try to activate, which seems a little different than I recall others seeing. Maybe they figured out too many of us were trying to activate remotely

I haven't looked at the delivery numbers, but I do respect Ford for a move like this and would wait on my truck a few weeks to help out. Pushing a few thousand to the next quarter could help tons of folks with at least some rebate down the road. Think about if they trip the point late in the quarter then the clock is ticking. If they tip it at the beginning of the next quarter then it pushes 3 months and the assembly lines we hope have thousands rolling off each week vs hundreds.

The could just prioritize some Canadian trucks for a few weeks or just hold them on lots, either way, it could help thousands of customers down the road.

Are they really that close on the tax rebate modification? I thought that pretty much all 2022 deliveries were going to get the full $7500?

Current estimates put Ford at 194, 000 vehicles sold by the end of the 2nd Quarter at the end ofJune. That's only 6,000 vehicles off from the 200,000 limit. That 6,000 vehicles easily could be made by Ford and put them over the limit by the end of June if they're that close.

Pretty sure Ford 100% doesn't care. The "delay" is logistics/quality checks/PR.

They are selling all Trucks regardless of the Tax Credit status for the next 2-years. Certainly some will drop out, but they will just be filled w/ others. I'd personally drop out, unless I was able to order a Pro @ $40K.

Their competition is only: Rivian, GM, and vaporware CyberTruck.

GM isn't selling the Silverado until late 2023 and doesn't have any tax credits. And the reasonably priced GMs don't come out til Summer 2024.

Tesla has no credits, and let's face it, no truck on any expected time frame. It's also "Sold out" for infinity as well.

Rivian is backlogged w/ Reservations for the next 2 years.

Mine says activation pending… essentially the same but it allowed it to try to activate instead of giving me the message to try once I take delivery.

Yup, it was there last night with todays date and then **poof**. Couldn’t log in this morning until now.

I have the same issue with the order tracker page - the last 2 days I couldn't get anything out of it on a Mac or PC. Safari seems to be the worst. I finally got a reply out of it today using Chrome on a MacBook.

Yeah mine was there yesterday. My unfortunate daily cycle of checking forums, window sticker, reservation and order tracker. I used to check my modules but not since they’ve shown up have I checked them again haha

I had that for a couple days. When it came back the picture of my truck started working in my firs pass too. I’m hoping the next time something stops working is because the truck is ready for delivery.

...and now we wait....

And I really hope that "Ford Authority's" assertion that all those Lightnings that were parked around the test track were there because they were missing chips is "Disinformation" (call the Ministry of Truth!), and instead they are really there because they're being staged for...oh I dunno, spray in bedliner...or just waiting for transport arrangements.... or something other than needing a module or two!
