Hi there! Late to the party but I’ve been hidden away biting my nails like the rest of you, it seems :)

Built: 6/30/22, Delivery eta 7/18/22 - 7/24/22
…first truck. First EV. First car I’ve bought over $30k. Itching at getting my hands on my first new car in a decade!

I’ve checked around on how people are seeing their truck in the FordPass app, but I’m not sure what’s going on with it. Is it just a crapshoot on whether someone hits activation so I can join in the fun refreshing the map too? :ROFLMAO:;)

Good morning 6/6 build group..just got the email that my truck has been shipped....my transportation is convoy and I don't think it will take 13 days to get to delivered so we may need to start making preparations sooner than later..what are you guys doing about charging..are you going to upgrade your home elec service to accomated the 80 amp charger and/or the home backup? Also what are you doing with your current truck/vehicle..waiting to trade it in at Ford?

P.S. My truck is for sale!

I hope the can load you on a hot-shot and get it to your dealer today or Saturday!
I'm gonna guestimate ETA 7/5
Well you were close - delivered yesterday 7/6.
I stopped by last night and it was on the charger, still has to be prepped.
Going up with my MkS this morning to get a trade quote - already have a Carvana etc ballpark $$ so we will see if the dealer or the internet ends up with the car.

I have a Tesla charge connector and a NEMA 14-50 on opposite sides in my garage. So short term I plan to use the NEMA 14-50 for the Lightning. I have a total of 100 amps available to the garage so I should be good with the Ford Mobile connector. Long term option 1 is to have an electrician install the Charge Station Pro down rated to use 60 amp circuit and down rate my Tesla charger to 40 amp circuit (actual charging amps will be lower than that for each). The other alternative I have considered is buying a second Tesla v3 Charger since it should be able to dynamically share power with my existing v3 charger. I'm just not sure if the Tesla power sharing will work correctly when charging a non-Tesla through an adapter and a Tesla.

You need to be 80% of max continuous load. So for the 100A circuit, you can only use 80A max on that circuit. Since the Ford charge station is non configurable, you would need to down rate your Tesla even more. However the Charge Station Pro is rated @ 80A already. So I am not sure how you would also use the Tesla one at the same time.

I will will be using my 40 amp tesla charger..i have purchased the adapter but it will be somewhat of a challenge to keep both the truck and the tesla charged as there is only one space availabe in my garage. I think that should be enough to charge the Lighting overnight to at least 80% but will see.

I'm aware of the 80%, I'm talking the breaker rating just to keep it simple. For example my Tesla charger requires a 60 amp breaker but is configured to use 48 amps. I've seen multiple places that the Charge Station Pro IS configurable (here is a Ford source: https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/conten...ning/pdf/FordChargeStationPro-Specs_06_v2.pdf)

All caught up on manual reports, I'm sure more will come in through the day, good luck folks!

My order tracker is showing "in transit" now too! Getting very excited!!
Looks like you are rolling without me, we were built the same day but my truck needs more components before it's shipped ☹
