It’ll never leave. From what I read it just stays there until you get tired of tracking it. Then it just shows up one day….I wish I was kidding.

Also…I’m sorry to add anxiety. But we’re about a week from a rail strike if a deal isn’t reached.

Here’s to hoping we all get on a convoy by weeks end
The strike won't start on August 15th, there's a mandatory 30 day cooling off period, so September 14th is the actual day.

I told you I'm feeling kind of let down over my baby being stuck in the hot autorack at some dirty railyard most likely colonized by a family of homeless drug addicts.
Now that’s just not fair. Not every homeless person is a drug addict. At least recognize they could be stripping your truck for parts so they can sell it for cash.

I got my Ford floor mats, bed mat, frunk mat and console vault Yesterday. Now to figure out running boards and tonneau cover. I'll get the bed sprayed and window tint done ASAP. What am I forgetting? How about speakers? Any good ideas or recommendations?

Hopefully our trucks for the Week of 7/11 will all have been delivered by September 14th!

Last month (July 15th), Biden appointed a Presidential Emergency Board after the National Mediation Board had concluded that talks between the companies and the unions had reached an impasse. The rail unions had publicly asked Biden to intervene, knowing that the appointment of a PEB would outlaw strikes for 30 days under the antiworker Railway Labor Act (RLA). The PEB held a week of hearings during which each side in the dispute presented its case. The PEB is scheduled to recommend a settlement by August 15 at the latest, then yet another 30-day cooling-off period (during which workers may not legally strike) will begin. If an agreement is not reached under the PEB, then Congress could then intervene. (On or about after September 14th).

Ok to add to the anxiety even further... if there is a recall issued in the next few days we may all be screwed. I had a "dream" that we are all racing against a potential delivery hold recall that may be released in the near future to correct some bugs.
Our Owner told us yesterday to Deliver every MachE we can as a Recall is in the pipeline and would take 6 days to fix every car affected.... Something about dropping the battery and fixing something. You probably know a lot more than me on these things. I'm great at selling them, but don't ask me how to fix a thing.

That would be related to TSB 22-2178 that was published on Aug 2. If the Mach has certain codes or a discharged lvb we have to drop the battery and go inside to replace the HVBJB. I have the same feeling that it may become a recall which will affect all the Mach E's. They are telling us through FSE's that the lightning contactors are much more robust and a different design. I have seen one Mach E prior that would have fell into this TSB but only had a LVB replaced.

Do you know if the ford accessory site pricing the same as buying from the dealer parts dept?

If you can get the website 20% discount buy it there. If not negotiate the price with the parts dept. If they have it in stock you should be able to get a discount. The retail prices should be the same. Markup is anywhere from 15% to 50% I'd guess. I'm not a parts guy but I know a few..lol
