Been lurking this thread since it's inception. Finally have a reason to register and post, and put my entry into the order database.

I had followed other's strategy of trying to activate Fordpass on the truck sitting in the factory lot.

I was checking it every morning, This morning someone rejected my connection request. Which I take as good news, someone turned the truck on and probably moved it. I hope it was moved onto a delivery truck.

Welcome, with that 9/28 date something's cooking, your dealership is only 186 miles from the plant, might have loaded onto a carrier this afternoon and might be there later today or Friday!

Or they are moving it to a workshop for final review QC and built status

I got my app rejection, then later that day my truck progressed to "built" but that was 9/15 and I'm still waiting on it moving to shipping. So I think it's a good sign of progress for you, but the wait is still indefinite.

At this point I'm actually relying on everyone reporting in when a substantial change occurs.

Things that would help:

• All members stick to their own build week for reports, others can read and send reactions (likes) or congrat's when deliveries occur, otherwise remain silent unless you would like to help a newbie with researching techniques.
  
  
• All members can report when a substantial change occurs in their build week thread. (new action dates In Production, Built, Shipped Preparing for Delivery)
  
  
• No comments need for negative reports that's frustrating for everyone to see the negatives and worse so when folks are cross posting negative data or observations outside their own thread.
  
  
• Doing the above will streamline the content of useful data, I'd recommend, you monitor a couple of the weeks preceding your build week to get a feel / sense for what's coming down the pike for your build.

My dealer confirmed with me my truck has shipped. They gave me access to vin view text updates (though I'm yet to receive a text). They most recently told me the ETA is now 10/4-10/10. BUT, my ford account does not say shipped...not only does it not say shipped but it has reverted all the way back to "order received" I don't know what they've got going on with the progress tracking department but hopefully I'll have something to show in the next week.

Contracted my truck yesterday to lock in financing rates and make pick up faster (I've got 3 kids, twin 6 month olds and a 2.5 year old, not the easiest to spend hours at a dealership all at once). Then last night before bed I got a text from VinView telling me my truck arrived at the facility in Mira Mar, CA....1 hour from when I live (without traffic)....

At this point I want to just drive over there a get it

Nope, never tracked that metric, ..... but...... this can happen at various stages of the trucks handling at the plant storage lot, up-fitters shops, repair shops, loading onto rail car, unload from rail car, moving into regional rail yard storage, loading onto the the final mile convoy ride, lot boy at the dealership, PDI technician, salesman.

I was denied a couple of times, while the truck was still at the Rouge, I gave up and waited for shipping, requested it again, and it remained pending until the truck was being prep'd by dealer PDI, on delivery day they accepted the request, 4 hours later I owned the truck.

No. My dealer Rep said it may not.

With the assumption that my Built XLT ER was sitting in the lot awaiting shipment and someone entered the vehicle to trigger the rejection, let’s hope that an update is being completed.

No. My dealer Rep said it may not.

I don't think the WEB version will change for the 7/31 build week, but they should still give you all the discounted price, see if they will generate a revised one locally when the truck arrives at the dealership.
