Hey Guys, picked up the Lightning yesterday. It seems very much like driving a regular truck, but quieter because it's electric and less bouncy when empty vs ICE. Otherwise it mostly blends right in.

I hope Ford gets their issues worked out soon and you all have trucks in your hands shortly... the "Lightning Delivered" party is MUCH better than the "Ramp 51" party.

I got my rail car info from Ford Chat and they gave me a 10/2 ETA?!??!? I called the CSX phone tracking and it said "empty" and "released" and in Portland Oregon? This does not make any sense to me...

ORDERTRACK, shows you IN TRANSIT as of ~2 hours ago, they may not have actually loaded the rail car completely yet or released it to be hitched with other rail cars heading your way, check daily for status updates.

I guess I cleared the chip hold as well...went to "built" status on Ford.com order tracker. Not shipped yet but showing "Estimated Delivery 9/29/2022 - 10/5/2022".

My estimated delivery date was moved back to 9/9–9/15 from 9/24–9/30 on ford.com. Perhaps it's getting ready to be shipped?

Ford Marketing is NOT well informed and just regurgitate what the website says for ETAs. I had a conversation with them today and they told me that the railcar with my truck on it was in Melvindale, Michigan. I know for a fact that it is past Harrisburg, PA by now.
